From 13th July till 15th August 2025 art interested people could admire the exhibition „Design, Art, Painting“ with artworks of UWE ANDREE in the MUSEUM ALTES RATHAUS. The exhibitions at this art space are organized and curated as part of the project KUNSTMARKT LEINGARTEN by the HEIMATVEREIN LEINGARTEN, which is the local history society.
UWE ANDREE works as a designer and graphic artist for both print and electronic media (web, CDs, etc.) in an international company. He studied printing technology in Stuttgart and, through Macromedia, achieved his goal as a multimedia developer. Projects during this time included „Teatralik2“ (IB – International Association for Social Work) and „From 4 to 4“ (SWR – Southwest German Broadcasting). His great passion is oil painting and photography. He was born in 1960 in Agnetheln/Agnita and, since April 18, 1984, has been the happiest person with a son. He loves: his wife, his son (nothing after that for a long time), then painting, painting, painting, loyal friends. He hates: stupidity, arrogance, insensitivity.
UWE ANDREE completed a degree in printing at the University of Applied Sciences in Stuttgart, Macromedia, and works as a multimedia developer and designer in the web and print sectors. Uwe Andree has been working „for as long as he can remember,“ preferring oil. The images evolve continuously over a long period of time; it’s not a medium used ad hoc. His oil painting is his key to a period in which time is frozen and the scene is created. The message crystallizes in many layers, becoming more solidified with each painting. The mask cycle illustrates this particularly clearly.
