For over 20 years, the art space “Tacheles” on Oranienburger Straße was a source of unbridled creative energy with great significance for the national and international art scene and a local meeting place for many Berliners. The building itself, a monument since the early 1990s, has being carefully renovated and became the new home of Fotografiska Berlin in September 2023. The artworks from the past have since disappeared, but you can still see photos of them here in our archive.
