Since the mid-1990s, the café has stood for a place where young people live out their ideas of a cozy and creative get-together in the Kiez Johannisthal. From time to time (in the past more often) concerts, parties and cultural events take place here. The Easter bonfire is legendary and attracts over 300 people of all ages every year, and the irregular neighborhood festivals were often the highlights of social life in the tranquil district south of the Schöneweide S-Bahn station.
The café is also the perfect place to celebrate. Birthdays, school and graduation parties, youth initiations and many other occasions have already been celebrated here. The café with the disco room is ideal for parties with 20 to 100 guests. The JuJo lounge offers space for around 20 people to cook, talk and sit comfortably by the fireplace. Conferences, sessions, workshops and much more can also be held here in a relaxed atmosphere.
AUDIO is also an association that manages band and rehearsal rooms in cooperation with the JuJo, organizes events, carries out socio-cultural projects, provides technology for events, promotes youth culture work and is socially committed. The association sees itself as a platform for young people with ideas and creative drive and is open to project proposals and cooperation. – Audio e.V.
