COKYONE, born in Aachen in 1985, started painting graffiti at the age of 12, spraying it on legal and illegal walls and trains. In 2003, he broke his leg while running away from the police. This was the turning point for him to turn his passion for graffiti into a professional practice. COKYONE initially applied to study at the University of the Arts in Düsseldorf. Although he was not admitted, this did not stop him from pursuing his passion and developing as an artist and mural painter. Based in Berlin, he has been working nationally and internationally as a graffiti and urban art artist since 2020. His paintings are mainly influenced by animals and figures from his childhood. In his works, he often criticizes the poor way humans treat our environment and animals.  –  FKKB
