ALBANIA: Streetart Tirana – Mural Fest Tirana – Praxinho’s Urban Art Collection

Fabulous travel photographer and world explorer Praxinho aka Praxi Deluxe brought some awesome photo material from his journey to the Albanian capital Tirana. Since 2018 the fantastic MURAL FEST TIRANA takes place in the streets and numerous artists from all around the globe have been invited in the previous years. This great event is hosted annually by the local art agency DEKORI with its director Henril Cule and with support by 167/B STREET. In the city you can find as well many old fashioned artworks from decades ago in mosaic style. Here is a collection from Praxinho, these artworks and many more are also located on the Streetart Map Tirana.

GERMANY: Graffiti artist Bernd Eisold aka BERK – Liquid Wildstyle, colorful sketching and creative art education

Fantastic spray art in which you can dive into or that jumps towards you. WildStyle at its best! Mostly liquid, but it sticks firmly to the wall. We interviewed the artist BERND EISOLD aka BERK about his awesome graffiti artworks. He is not only active as an artist himself, but also tries passionately to support other artists and newcomers. As a sprayer BERK enjoys doing urban art, but is also deeply connected to the art scene and tries to educate other people, gives workshops, advocates more art spaces in local councils and, above all, is committed to more free areas for the graffiti world. A very creative and brilliant person who should be supported!

NETHERLANDS: Streetart Amsterdam – Sint Nicolaasstraat 19 – Art Space “SECRET GARDEN”

A very cool new street art spot in the center of Amsterdam opened its doors not long ago! It’s called the Secret Garden and you can access this hidden gem via Nicholas Groente & Fruit at Sint Nicolaasstraat 19. It’s a cute little shop that sells high quality artisanal (food) products and art. As well they have comics, books, posters and prints. The lovely store is run by Brian and the little associated backyard gallery called Secret Garden has meanwhile 50 artworks and still counting! The entrance is free for everyone. Just ask for this creative place in the shop.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Friedrichsfelde – Dathepromenade – Tierpark Center – ARTIST GALLERY

The Tierpark Center in Berlin Lichtenberg is becoming a temporary open air gallery. Seven Berlin artists for urban art designed the wall surface of the center with motifs specially developed for the location in December 2021. The creative temporary use was made possible by the on-site center management together with the child and adolescent psychotherapist Andrea Stöckmann aka EMILY STRANGE and Ulrike Gohla from the STADTPIRATEN. The motto for the motifs is “Fare Well” and the involved creators were AGE AGE, CARO PEPE,  COKYONE, LACUNA, MATE, SPOARE 153 and SR. PAPÁ CHANGO. Check out their awesome artworks!

CHILE: Streetart Angol – Ruta 180 – Acceso a Shell – Old Gas Station Urbex

Another Urbex adventure from Chile. You can find the access to this abandoned Shell gas station, where the city of Angol ends as seen in today’s map at Ruta 180. It’s kind of a nice trip to #angolstreetart – most likely, in the future this will be part of the city of Angol. For now, it is just an abandoned gas station, but with lots of interesting graffiti with strong Angoline influence. Among the participants, you can distinguish the artists ZEN, DYRE and PABLO ANTAY from the TONS CREW.

ARGENTINA: Streetart Buenos Aires – Tribute to Gustavo Cerati at Avenida Francisco Beiró by Marco Heis

The highway construction in low level, “El Paso Bajo”, carried out on Francisco Beiró Avenue and the Urquiza railroad tracks in Buenos Aires, has four traffic lanes, two by hand, and a pedestrian crossing. This traffic complex was baptized Gustavo Cerati and therefore painted by artist MARCO HEIS with wonderful images of the famous singer. After a vote in which 177,594 residents participated, 68,438 chose to honor Gustavo Cerati, the late leader of Soda Stereo, while that 60,247 favored Carlitos Balá, and 48,909 did so for Julio Cortázar.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Urban Art Championat at North Side Gallery – Halloween Jam 2021

Time for a Graffiti Battle with a creepy Halloween theme! On October 31st an Urban Art Championship took place at the North Side Gallery in Berlin. The event was organized by Graffiti Battle TV with great support from Loop Colors, Graffiti Lobby Berlin, Emily Strange and the shop Graffiti Box. Bee Low and History of Berlin also provided support. Fantastic works of art were created on the walls in the park at the Nordbahnhof, matching the date with styles of Halloween. This event served as a preliminary decision for the Berlin contribution to the International Graffiti Battle 2022. DEJOE was awarded 1st place, followed by TWICK in 2nd place and SKIM in 3rd place. Altogether 20 artists participated at the event.

GERMANY: Streetart Map Insel Poel – Baltic Island Art in the Bay of Wismar

The Island of Poel is located in the Wismar Bay in the Baltic Sea near the city of Wismar. In 1997 it became a state-approved resort, and since 2004 the municipality has been known as the Ostseebad. Photographer and streetart hunter Holger Peter paid a visit to the Island of Poel and found several beautiful works of art spread over the area. The small and large murals often show motifs from local nature, fishing ships and the sea. Check out the collection and the new map!

We introduce you to the heartful painter and creative graffiti sprayer Daniel Bazco, to his art, his thinking and his mission to bring more life and positive energy into the cities and the minds of the people. Daniel Bazco’s motifs are mostly about flora and fauna, but he also likes to paint portraits and characters. In doing so, he often chooses special people whom he would like to remember, but also people who deserve criticism. What all of his works have in common, however, is that they shine with strong color intensity.

POLAND: Streetart Warsaw – Images full of emotions that cannot be ignored – Artist ANDY BLACK

Using the bicycle path over the Vistula River in Warsaw, leading along the access roads to the Siekierkowski Bridge, or running to the bus or tram on the left-hand side of the Poniatowski Bridge, you can encounter fascinating images created by great artist ANDY BLACK. Pictures that cannot be ignored, full of emotions that everyone can read differently. Sometimes it is anger, sometimes fear or surprise. Or maybe you will see a smile there? In fact, it is up to the viewer to read these feelings. They are images that replace many words that could be used to describe them.
