The NEUJAHRSVERCHROMUNG isn’t a single, specific event, but rather an initiative or campaign in which many different groups and artists from all over Germany participate. The word “NEUJAHRSVERCHROMUNG” would mean something similar to “NEW YEAR’S CHROME PLATING” in English. The idea is to create pieces everywhere at the same time to kick off the new year. And chrome is the theme. Various minimalist combinations are allowed, it changes every year with colours and additions, but chrome is the main focus. TEAM ANTIGRAU is also taking part in this cool campaign and is organizing a laid-back gathering at the long wall, which will be partially repainted in between the main HAFEN JAM event.
