The fifth URBAN ART BIENNALE took place from April 14th to November 3rd in 2019 and involved more than 100 artists from 20 countries. The focus was on interventional works under the motto „Unlimited“ and for the first time, in addition to the art projects, dance and performances were also shown. From this year onwards, the Völklinger Hütte also started projects with other similar institutions such as the floating exhibition FLUCTUART on the Seine river in Paris, the urban art museum MAUSA VAUBAN, the urban art project LE MUR OBERKAMPF in Paris or THE HAUS in Berlin. Many new works were added to the area, but of course you could still admire many of the works from the previous years.
