On this page are the photos of the South Side of the Eastern Section. The flood protection wall is around 255 meter long from (53.46984, 9.96960) to (53.46913, 9.97258). The south side can be divided into (a) the arched area from (53.46984, 9.96960) to (53.46946, 9.97085), where advanced writers and some kings work; (b) an elongated wall from (53.46946, 9.97085) to (53.46894, 9.97211), which is probably withheld from Kings with their masterpieces; (c) a dyke section from (53.46894, 9.97211) to (53.46914, 9.97258), which lies qualitatively between (4a) and (3). The wall parts (3) and (4) together form the actual “Heimfeld-Hall” – probably the largest legal and most significant hall in northern Germany. In the following are the urban artworks in chronological order only from the walls facing South. Actually you need a permit to paint on the Heimfeld Hall of Fame which you can get via an online formular on the website of the GROSSSTADTRAUM art society. Spray Rules: Painting only with a valid permit – Do not use bitumen under any circumstances – Please dispose of waste in the waste garbage cans or take it with you – Please leave the garbage cans in place – Any changes to the wall, such as drilling, removing or gluing, are prohibited – Painting the floor, signs and other surfaces is prohibited – Treat each other, the local residents and nature with respect – Always paint over a picture or concept completely if possible – The wall is for everyone! Choose your area with consideration for others – Beginners should practise on the inner, small wall by the sloping dyke – Grosstadtraum e.V.
