GERMANY: Streetart Chemnitz – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection

Here we have a collection of graffiti and urban works of art spread across the entire city of Chemnitz. The great works were taken by photographer RENE GIESE aka SILENT PICTURE COMMANDO. Viadukt Memorandum  –  Victims of the NSU  –  Enver ?im?ek

Enver ?im?ek was the first victim of the series of murders carried out by the right-wing extremist terrorist group “National Socialist Underground” or in short NSU. The flower shop owner was born on December 4th 1961 in ?arkikaraa?aç in Turkey and now lived in Schlüchtern in Hesse. He was shot on September 11th 2000 in his moblien flower stand in Nuremberg.

Viadukt Memorandum  –  Victims of the NSU  –  Abdurrahim Özüdo?ru

Abdurrahim Özüdo?ru was another victims of the murder series by the NSU. Özüdo?ru emigrated from Turkey to Germany in 1972 and worked as a metal worker. He was born on May 21st 1952 in Yenisehir and was killed on June 13th 2001 in Nuremberg.

Süleyman Ta?köprü was another victim of the NSU. The fruit and vegetable dealer was born on March 20th 1970 and was killed in his shop on June 27th 2001 with three shots from two different weapons.

Habil K?l?ç was born in 1963 in Borçka, Turkey, on the Black Sea coast. He came to Germany at the end of the 1980s and worked in a family vegetable and delicatessen business in Munich, where he was murdered by the NSU on August 29, 2001, shot twice in the head.

?smail Ya?ar was born in Alanyurt, Turkey, in 1955 and came to Germany at the age of 23. He later managed a snack bar in Nuremberg, where he was killed by the NSU on June 9th 2005 with five shots in the head and upper body.

Viadukt Memorandum  –  Victims of the NSU  –  Theodoros Boulgarides

Theodoros Boulgarides was a retailer of Greek origin. He was born in Visaltia in 1964 and was murdered on June 15th 2005 by the NSU in Munich. He was the seventh victim in their Germany-wide series of murders of migrants.

Mehmet Kuba??k was a German retailer of Turkish origin and Kurdish descent. He was born on May 1st 1966 in Hanobas? and was shot by the NSU as the eighth victim in the series of murders on April 4th 2006  in Dortmund.

Halit Yozgat was born in Kassel in 1985 and was murdered in Kassel on April 6, 2006 by the NSU as the ninth victim of their series of murders, which were carried out in major German cities between 2000 and 2006.

Viadukt Memorandum  –  Victims of the NSU  –  Michèle Kiesewetter

Michèle Kiesewetter was a German police officer and a victim of the NSU. She was born on October 10, 1984 and was shot on April 25, 2007 in Heilbronn.

Viadukt Memorandum  –  Victims of the NSU  –  Atilla Özer

On June 9th 2004, Atilla Özer survived an NSU nail bomb in a Cologne hair salon with serious injuries. He died on September 23rd 2017 in Hamburg.
