Herford is a Hanseatic city in East Westphalia with a population of around 67.000 and a history stretching back over 1.200 years. Points of interest include the Romanesque Herford Minster of St. Mary and Pusinna, the house of Baroque architect Daniel Pöppelmann or the old town with its historic town hall and half-timbered houses. And, of course, you will also find urban artworks in the streets. „Bobby watches the Sky“ – HANSE STREETARTWORKS
This work was created in 2013 during the HANSE STREETARTWORKS urban art happening, based on a template by the famous British stencil artist BOXI, who is known for his portrait works of people from everyday life, but slightly altered with a message and thought-provoking. The work is protected from weather and damage by a glass pane.
