The N*DORPHINCLUB in the Blankenburg Street 62 was a project by Human Traffic e.V. to promote, strengthen and freely develop youth and subculture in Chemnitz and also served as a youth and cultural center. Fantastic acts, especially from the drum & bass scene, but also from the electronic music genre in general, performed here and gave great sets at legendary parties. Popular musicians like Norris Terrify, Sheldon Drake, Carsten Rechenberger, Chievo or Julia König have already been behind the turntables. After bankruptcy in 2011, the DJ NANO42 tried to restart with a new team, but after a while it finally ended completely. The half-ruined lost place has now developed into a small urbex oasis, filled with graffiti and urban works of art. Here we have a photo collection of the various artworks outside the building and on the several floors inside taken by photographer RENE GIESE aka SILENT PICTURE COMMANDO.
