On this page we present you an artist special about the great urban creator FRITTEN FREDDIE. He makes small delicacies in the form of paste ups, stickers, mosaic installations or iron-on beads and plastic squares, which he puts around the streets. In English, the colloquial German word „Fritten“ means the word for „Fries“ and this fast food is also one of the main features of many of his works. Originally from Belgium, he now lives in Hamburg and colors up the urban streetscape there and in many other cities around. You can find small exquisit works, always carefully placed in special locations, namely a French Fry looking around the corner with big eyes. Usually with a red mop of hair reminiscent of Where is Wally or Waldo, but it can also be a Mexican sombrero, a reggae cap or a top hat. In addition to the Pommes series, FRITTEN FREDDIE has also created other collections, especially the camera on legs is very interesting and has been extensively expanded over time. There is a preference for medium format cameras, from Rollei or Leica to Hasselblad and instant. Here is a collection of countless works by this artist alone, sorted by series and with corresponding location information.
