The German city of Cologne on the Rhine was founded by the Romans around 38 BC as an urban settlement called Oppidum Ubiorum. Today it has almost 1.1 million inhabitants and is the fourth biggest city in the country. One of the city’s world-famous landmarks is the Gothic cathedral called „Kölner Dom“ with its two towers and the Shrine of the Epiphany. The medieval Cologne Cathedral was the tallest building in the world between 1880 and 1890 and is now the third tallest church and still highest cathedral in the world. We have just started with the first photos from Cologne by RENE GIESE aka SILENT PICTURE COMMANDO, who has mainly collected stencils and paste ups, but also some graffiti.
