The WALL OF FAME in Leipzig’s Plagwitz district offers streetart and graffiti artists the opportunity to create their works legally. The hall at Antonienbrücke was opened on June 8th in 2017 and there are extensive areas available on five bridge sections within marked areas as well as at the back of the Netto supermarket on more than 320 square meters. This spray space was made possible by the association HEIZHAUS, formerly known as URBAN SOULS, together with the city of Leipzig. You can reach the hall from the main station by streetcar lines 1, 2, 3 and N17 or by bus 60 and SEV3 to the Antonien-/Gießerstraße stop. Here is a collection of great graffiti on the bridge walls, on the adjacent buildings and some snapshots of the tracks taken by RENE GIESE aka SILENT PICTURE COMMANDO.

Last Coal Train on 31st 2023
At the end of 2023, the last full coal trains ran from Profen to Küchwald, as the combined heat and power plant was converted to gas.
