This time we’re going to Wunstorf in the northwest of Hannover, to a Hall of Fame that is hardly in the public eye and should not be underestimated. West of the Wunstorf train station, the span of the railway tracks to the west towards the city of Minden and to the northwest towards the city of Bremen is crossed by an elevated national road Hochstraße (B 441). Between these tracks and below this “urban planning fiasco” there is a small Hall of Fame. This little insider tip often surprises with the finest pieces, which (at times) do not have to shy away from a quality comparison with those of the famous Ihme Hall in the closeby big city Hannover. Some writers like to use both spots frequently.
The structure of the walls consist of several support pillars of different widths on the elevated road, also the wide area of ??the bridge abutment and the underpass of the western rail branch are used for spray creations. The 7 to 8 meter wide pillars and the approximately 20 meters wide bridge abutment are particularly suitable for large-format pieces. In the area of ??the track underpass for pedestrians and cyclists there are also a lot of pieces, but those are more average works.
Note on the visit: If you arrive by train, which is recommended and can be reached from Hannover main station in 20 minutes or even faster, then take the middle station tunnel exit towards the town center and walk around 300 meters along a P+R square, then you should see the first supporting pillars with the already some pieces. The area between the support pillars is often used as a parking lot by commuters, so on weekdays there are often cars around which cover the great artworks and can make it difficult to get some of the bigger sprayed highlights on a whole picture, if you want to photograph. Therefore a visit on Sundays is recommended. The artworks on the bridge bearings and tunnels are not affected, those are mostly always easy catchable with a camera. – Irxnschmoiz
