Jugendhaus Zentrum & Sporthalle im Grund – Neuffen 74
The youth center Jugendhaus Zentrum Neuffenstraße is an open youth outreach facility operated by the City of Wendlingen am Neckar and the Esslingen District Youth Association (KJR) e.V. The approximately 280-square-meter, single-story building—located across from the large Ludwig-Uhland Secondary School and next to the Anne Frank Special Education School—offers space for a wide range of activities.
Key areas of focus include the open drop-in center, a strong culture of volunteerism, partnerships with schools, various dance and sports programs, music events, a student club, recreational camps, and the children’s vacation program (FiFeFo). With 275% staffing and two FSJ volunteers, the center ranks among the average-sized youth centers within the KJR Esslingen. It is equipped with a workshop, a dance studio, a computer/group room, a large café (with pool table, foosball table, DJ booth, sofa area, and bar), an office, a storage room, and a hard-surface sports field just around the corner. The center serves as the hub for open children’s and youth work in the city of Wendlingen am Neckar. – Jugendhaus Zentrum

Graffiti Workshop 2025
„From 10th to 11th September 2025, the graffiti workshop – promoted by the city’s summer program – took place at our Wendlingen Youth Center under the guidance of CHRISTIAN POMPLUN from COLORFUL MINDED. In addition to four members of the kitchen staff and JULE STUHLMÜLLER, another graffiti expert and 14 children between the ages of 11 and 16 took part. It was a lot of fun!“ – Jugendhaus Zentrum
