Exarchia is a district of the Greek capital Athens and famous for it’s avant-garde and alternative scene. This page here is specifically about graffiti and great urban art in this neighbourhood, whose alleys are filled from top to bottom with magnificent works. The murals are often marked by political messages, interspersed with anarchist bookshops or stores for rare records and vintage stuff. The bars and clubs regularly host live concerts of all kinds of music and there is a fun and lively nightlife.

Around the grounds of the football club SC Union 06 Berlin at the Poststadion there is a great skate park and several small leisure sports facilities. Embedded is also a grandiose graffiti wall, which is regularly creatively designed by the 21ER GALLERY through painting campaigns with top-class artists from Berlin and all around the world. Timisoara is one of the most important cities in Romania and it is not without reason that it was chosen as the European Capital of Culture in 2023. The city with around 250,000 inhabitants offers an impressive combination of Byzantine, Baroque and Modernist architecture. SERBIA: Urban Art Belgrade – Slanački Put 26 – Ciglana Klub Ljubitelja – Dev9t Festival

The fantastic “Festival Devet” or “Dev9t” which means in English “Festival Nine” is held every year in Belgrade in an abandoned space of the industry quarter Stara Ciglana. This awesome event started in 2014 and shows regularly great participating artists from Serbia and the whole world. Included are many different types of art like music, performance, lectures and of course the colors on the walls.

Französisch Buchholz is a part of the Berlin district Pankow and in this neighbourhood exists a fabulous graffiti wall at the Rosenthaler Weg. Thanks to the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN the spray space is legalized for creative activities since 2021. The organization has done a great job again to set this place free. GERAUD DELTEIL paints comic-like portraits as abstracted cult figures, celebrities or simply fantasy creatures. The fantastic artist creatively interprets colorful portraits of famous icons in his very own way. Long time ago, he started with spray cans doing graffiti, but meanwhile he has developed his special unique style, which gets implemented mostly on canvas. We spoke with the artist in an interview.

GERMANY: Graffiti Berlin – Legendary Rummelsburg Hall of Fame – Rest in Peace

In the Rummelsburg district of Berlin there was once a legendary Hall of Fame, where grandiose works of art and graffiti were created over decades. In 2022 the place was unfortunately demolished. This spray paradise does no longer exist in the real world anymore, but in our online archive you can still admire more than 2000 photos of nearly 300 artists. We divided the huge area into three parts: the Main Wall, the Side Wall and the Front Wall.

SPAIN: Streetart Málaga – Graffiti and Urban Art Collection – Lucha por lo Imposible

Málaga is the second largest city in Andalusia and with around 570.000 inhabitants one of the biggest metropolises in Spain. Besides the interesting sights like the Arab Fort Palace Alcazaba, the Iglesia de Santiago, the Castillo de Gibralfaro or the Teatro Romano, it is also home to one of the most important universities in the country. The streets of the city are also home to some terrific urban art, such as the extensive portrait wall of the project „Lucha por lo Imposible“ or graffiti around the cool skate park.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Wilmersdorf – Old Reemtsma Factory – Tabakfabrik Gallery

Once the old Reemtsma cigarette factory was an interesting lost place where you could find a large number of great urban artworks. Especially in 2018 the graffiti jam HARTER TOBAK took place on the property and many local and international artists conjured up great pieces on the walls. The building complex has been demolished meanwhile and the old factory has disappeared entirely. But the photos remain of course and you can still admire them in our archive!
