SPAIN: Graffiti Barcelona – Passeig de Josep Carner – Drassanes Legal Wall – Urban Art Collection

The “Drassanes Reials de Barcelona” are the former royal shipyards of the Middle Ages. Now there is a historical maritime museum for the history enthusiasts and for the urban art fans the place has something great to offer as well. SWEDEN: Urban Art Trollhättan – 100th City Anniversary and Streetart Festival

Trollhättan is a town with 59.000 inhabitants and is located in the western Swedish province of Västra Götalands. Worth seeing are the neo-Gothic church, the historic canal or the stone box of Sjökullen. Sweden’s third largest gold treasure was found here during archaeological excavations, but the city’s real gems are on the house walls in the form of urban art. Several murals were created especially during the TROLLHÄTTAN STREETART FESTIVAL, which was held on the occasion of the city’s 100th anniversary in 2016.

CHILE: Streetart Santiago – Barrio Lastarria – GAM Complex – Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral

The UNCTAD III complex, including the 23 story tower, was built to host the UN conference on trade and development, held in April 1972 in Santiago, Chile. Once the conference was over, the architectural complex was used, as it was originally conceived, as a cultural center open to the people and called “Centro Cultural Gabriela Mistral” or in short GAM. ARGENTINA: Streetart Buenos Aires – Parque Alberdi – Mataderos Skate Park – Sports & Graffiti

In 2007 a group of local skaters started a movement to have their own space to practice their passion. They presented a project to the local municipality, and in 2011, a mega skate park was inaugurated in the Mataderos neighborhood of Buenos Aires! The design was created by specialized architects, and the construction was supervised by the Argentine Skateboarding Association. Besides the sports fun there are numerous fantastic graffiti and urban artworks around the area.

Rzeszów is the largest city in southeastern Poland and the capital of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship. GERMANY: Streetart Biberach an der Riß – Graffiti Collection and Urban Art Archive

Biberach an der Riß is a town in northern Upper Swabia with a population of about 34,000 inhabitants. The picturesque region is known for its impressive, historic monasteries, churches and chapels, so Biberach also has an interesting ancient old town. The landmarks of the city are the Ulm Gate, the White Tower or the Gigel Tower. But in the meantime there are also some urban artworks that count as famous landmarks and especially the group JUGEND AKTIV has set up several great projects.
