GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Wedding – Legendary Graffiti Wall at Napoleonkai and Allée du Stade

For many years, there existed a popular, but unofficial graffiti hotspot in the Wedding district of Berlin. Along the Napolenkai and on the Allée du Stade was the former gravel and rubble dumping ground, which was surrounded by a wall of concrete blocks. Perfect surface for spray can art. In February 2023, the soil sealing and walls were removed and unfortunately this graffiti spot no longer exists anymore. But in our archive you can still admire numerous photos!

GERMANY: Hellenthal – Eifel – Bergwerk Grube Wohlfahrt – Historical Graffiti in Underground Mining

In many underground tunnels and roadways of historic mines, signs of the old surveyors, cryptic gedinge and heading signs, but also pit field boundary and breakthrough signs on the walls can often be discovered in underground mining. Today we show you a photo collection of some of those artworks below the surface from a visit at the mining facility “Grube Wohlfahrt” in the German Eifel mountains.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Prenzlauer Berg – Mauerpark – FLINTA* GRAFFITI JAM

On March 8th is the annual International Women’s Day and this year the third edition of the great FLINTA* GRAFFITI JAM will take place again at the Berlin Mauerpark. The acronym FLINTA* stands for women, lesbians, inter, non-binary, trans and agender people. The asterisk at the end is intended to include further variations in gender diversity. According to the meaning, the event is about variety, diversity, respect and equality. In 2022 and 2023 two editions of this fantastic event already happenend with numerous awesome artworks. GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Tiergarten – Lützowplatz 17 – Hotel Berlin – FKKB – FREILUFT KUNST KLUB BERLIN

The FREILUFT KUNST KLUB BERLIN, or FKKB for short, is a unique art collective with its clubhouse in the Hotel Berlin at Lützowplatz 17 near the Tiergarten. Through the common thread, which is primarily urban art, it offers its members a supportive platform from which they can develop and exhibit new works. The Hotel Berlin regularly hosts art events and the exterior façades serve as surfaces for streetart and graffiti. Check out the great artworks!

GERMANY: Streetart Bremen – HIDDEN TREASURE – Urban Art Festival – Largest Black Light Graffiti in the World

The HIDDEN TREASURE in Bremen is the world’s first black light urban art festival. The artists work together according to predetermined color concepts, using only black and six blacklight colors. From August 18th to 20th August in 2023, over 50 graffiti creators painted the huge outdoor area at the Alte Werft at Stephanikirchenweide 19. As a highlight of the festival, the main wall was completely illuminated with black light at night, creating the largest black light graffiti in the world. GERMANY: Streetart Frankfurt – Bonames – Jugendhaus am Bügel – Graffiti & Jams – ARTIST GALLERY

The youth center JUGENDHAUS AM BÜGEL in Frankfurt’s Bonames district has been a meeting point for graffiti, breakdance and hip hop for decades. The annual CHARACTER JAM is widely known and attracts both painters and fans of the genre. In a mixture of youth work and creative-social art education, events have been taking place here since the 90s. Check out the huge artist gallery with works from several years and numerous jams.

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Zehlendorf – Rathaus Exhibition – STREET LIFE 2.0 – VERBUND GRAFFITI & STREETART SZ

Zehlendorf town hall is getting colorful! From December 5th in 2023 till March 31st in 2024, more than 115 street art exhibits by over 70 artists can be admired on two floors of the Zehlendorf town hall. The exhibition was organized by the VERBUND GRAFFITI & STREETART SZ and the project STREETLIFE 2.0, in initiated by the artists PHILIP NADOLL and JONAS QUENTIN.

GERMANY: Streetart Karlsruhe – Combo Creative Space – Graffiti, Breakdance & Hip Hop – Urban Art Collection

The hip-hop cultural center COMBO at Haid-und-Neu-Straße 165 in the Hagsfeld district was founded in April 2005 by the mobile youth work of the city of Karlsruhe together with the FARBSCHALL association aka TEAM COMBO. Since then, the place has been a focal point for graffiti, hip hop and breakdancing and hosts a constantly changing outdoor gallery with awesome urban art. The basic idea is to give young people the opportunity to develop their creativity and this also includes passing on knowledge to future generations. Each one teach one!

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Schöneberg – Natur Park Südgelände – Priesterweg Gallery

The park area “Südgelände” functioned as a locomotive and shunting station about 200 years ago, and much on the site still reminds of that time. There are many rails overgrown by bushes and trees, old sheds and engine halls that have been restored and function as cultural sites, restaurants or art workshops now. The park operator has approved the location on the railway line as a spray point. Check out the great artworks!

GERMANY: Streetart Berlin – Hellersdorf – Marktplatzcenter – Kunsttage – Urban Art Exhibition

From October 16th till November 11th in 2023, the great urban art exhibition KUNSTTAGE took place in the Marktplatzcenter in Berlin’s Hellersdorf district. “Kunsttage” means “Art Days” in English. The event was organized by STEREOHEAT and SKENAR 73 together with the art agency FRAMELESS STUDIO. The location is a mall with many different stores, but there are currently a lot of empty spaces. For this project numerous artists have painted fantastic colorful pieces on the walls.
