At the eastern end of Drehbrückenstraße, in front of the harbor basin and at the intersection with Überwasserstraße, there is an industrial building covered on all four sides with graffiti, characters, and abstract art, including some great concept walls. At this spot also the BACKBOARD JAM took place for the first time in 2021 in Dortmund’s harbor, followed by two further events on August 27th in 2022 and on August 26th in 2023. The happening was organized by the local hip-hop association KRUPPLYN and the urban art collective MORE THAN WORDS. Over the years, countless fantastic pieces have been created, with painting taking place at several locations. On the map, these are the areas marked in green in the southwest. On this page you can find the works specifically on the building at Drehbrücken Street 4, but also take a look at the works on the Überwasserstraße Graffiti Hall and on the graffiti wall at Drehbrücken Street 6. When visiting the harbor, be sure not to miss the murals in the north and the Hall of Fame on Speicherstraße!
