The FREILUFT KUNST KLUB BERLIN, or FKKB for short, is a unique art collective with its clubhouse in the Hotel Berlin at Lützowplatz 17 near the Tiergarten. Through the common thread, which is primarily urban art, it offers its members a supportive platform from which they can develop and exhibit new works. The Hotel Berlin regularly hosts art events and the exterior façades serve as surfaces for streetart and graffiti. Check out the great artworks!

SWEDEN: Streetart Gothenburg – Olivedal – Emigrantvägen 30 – Open Graffiti Wall

There is a lot of construction going on in Gothenburg’s Olivedal district and large building complexes and bypasses are being built, especially in areas close to the Göta älv river. Along a construction area on Emigrantvägen road a long barrier wall to the building site has been set up and this space is declared an open graffiti wall. You can officially paint and spray there legally. New works are constantly being created here and graffiti jams are regularly organized. Check out the great pieces!

MOROCCO: Streetart Tamnougalt – Desert Art – DAVID CHOE’s Igloo Hong Project – Urban Creations in the Middle of Nowhere

The small enclave of Tamnougalt is a Berber village with around 500 inhabitants near the small town of Agdz in the Draa Valley in southern Morocco. In the middle of nowhere stands an old clay building complex, where a large number of urban artworks have been created by a group of artists around DAVID CHOE for the IGLOO HONG project. The mix of abstract paintings, portraits and graffiti together with the isolation in the Moroccan hinterland is simply magnificent. This place is actually a small art gallery that no one knows about.

GERMANY: Streetart Bremen – HIDDEN TREASURE – Urban Art Festival – Largest Black Light Graffiti in the World

The HIDDEN TREASURE in Bremen is the world’s first black light urban art festival. The artists work together according to predetermined color concepts, using only black and six blacklight colors. From August 18th to 20th August in 2023, over 50 graffiti creators painted the huge outdoor area at the Alte Werft at Stephanikirchenweide 19. As a highlight of the festival, the main wall was completely illuminated with black light at night, creating the largest black light graffiti in the world. Valencia is simply a super cool city on the east coast of Spain. Relaxed atmosphere, interesting culture and modern dynamics. You’ll find historic monuments and also futuristic places like the Ciutat de les Arts i les Ciències, there are funky underground clubs, you can eat super delicious food and of course there is urban art in every alley. BELGIUM: Nearly abandoned village Doel – Transformation into an Urban Art Paradise

Doel is part of the municipality of Beveren in the Flemish province of East Flanders in Belgium. Plans to expand the huge closeby Antwerp Port to Doel and demolish the village have been in place since 1965. However, continuous protests by the villagers have prevented this so far. In the meantime, graffiti has been used as a helpful tool and the village declared itself as kind of an open urban art gallery. Of course this attracts a lot of artists from all around and also art loving visitors. Also since 2022 the fantastic DOEL FESTIVAL organized by PARADISE CITY and KLUB DRAMATIK takes place regularly with international djs, musicians and urban creators.
