This great mural by the artist duo MANNSTEIN VILL was created on the facades of the Falkenhof Museum in May 2023. The blue of the sky and the floating cloud contrasts with the salt extracted from the ground in the region. However, the salt is extracted by heating and evaporation, which in turn creates clouds. The occasion was for the 1000th anniversary of salt production in the city. The project was supported by the culture bureau and culture association “Münsterland e.V.” also called RKP, which stands for “Regional Kultur Projekte”, means in English “Regional Culture Projects”. An additional and connecting artwork was made MANNSTEIN VILL at the Gottesgabe Salt Works. More photos of the historic building at the Falkenhof Museum you can find here.
