The YAAM or “Young African Art Market” was founded in 1994 and is run by the non profit organization “KULT – Verein für Jugendkultur e.V.”. The focus is on the Afro-Caribbean culture. The multicultural backgrounds of the contributors and friends are reflected in the music, sports program and food stalls as well as the art and atmosphere of the premises. It is a social place where the most diverse people have the opportunity to meet, express themselves artistically, work and celebrate together.
