This grandiose mural with the dove of peace as a call for peace in the Ukraine war was created by the Frankfurt artist JUSTUS BECKER aka COR with the support of MAIN YARD in August 2022.
The artwork is intended to express a sign of solidarity with Ukraine. At the same time, the creators also refer to the CARITASHILFE, through which you can support the Ukraine country and their people with basic aid.
MAIN YARD: Unfortunately, the situation in Ukraine is still dramatic. It was foreseeable that the support for the country would not be a sprint, but a marathon – we would therefore like to point out that you can still easily provide emergency aid for those affected via @caritaswirhelfen. In spring of 2023 the area around the building has been completely demolished and regular construction work for the new MAIN YARD location was in progress. The wooden fences around the construction site were also colorfully designed by JUSTUS BECKER aka COR with great artworks on more than 100 meteres wall surface. In another action, the local artists OBSKUR, FUEGO FATAL, SPOT, MOIN and TOE contributed further works.
