San Cristóbal de La Laguna, or just La Laguna, has a population of around 155,000 and has a large student population and young culture due to its large university. But also ancient culture, the old town is a registered UNESCO World Heritage. A visit is also worthwhile at the beautiful church Nuestra Señora de la Concepción, the historic Casa Salazar, the Teatro Leal or a mountain excursion to the nearby Mirador Pico del Inglés.
