SPAIN: Streetart La Gomera – San Sebastián de La Gomera – Graffiti and Urban Art on the Canary Islands

San Sebastián de La Gomera is the capital of the Canary Island of La Gomera, located on the island’s east coast with around 9.000 inhabitants. It is especially famous for its connection to Christopher Columbus, who stopped here in 1492 on his voyage to America. Important sights include the historic Torre del Conde, a 15th-century defensive tower, the Iglesia de la Asunción, and the Casa de Colón, which commemorates Columbus’s stay.
