„Wanderlust“ – CORN79

Perfectly in line with the experiments that CORN79 has been carrying out in the last two years, this minimal work created for MurArte is characterized by the absence of outlines around the letters that form the word Corn. The artist’s incredible chromatic taste emphasizes the multicolored background in contrast with the black of the alphabet. The careful research dedicated to geometric abstraction seeks dialogue with letters which, becoming almost liquefied, lose the classic canons of typography.

CORN79 wants to start from lettering to find a meeting point between geometric shapes and graffiti, his first love, and in doing so he combines opposite elements with elegant mastery. This artwork was created in 2018. – MAUA MUSEUM

„Emarginazione“ – „Marginalization“ – DROUFLA

Glitch art uses digital or analog errors for aesthetic purposes, and if the error is commonly considered something to be eliminated, in this art it becomes a source of inspiration. Starting from this concept, DROUFLA creates „I’m afuckingwalkingparadox … no I’m not“ and uses the language of glitches to celebrate the beauty of everyone’s mistake. We are the set of choices made in life and even those considered wrong contribute to our being unique, special. Some external factors, however, amplify the feeling of lack, such as the discrimination given by the color of the skin, and here the artist intervenes by insisting on changes in skin color to consolidate equality. „The Cycle of Life“ – NICO BERARDO

The search for perfection of forms and the desire to bring beauty to the street are two of the main characteristics of the work of NICO BERARDO aka ‚N‚, an artist with a minimal, geometric and precise taste. In this work, created during a MurArte Jam, he invented a logo for a brand of longboard decks, adding blue on a green background to the colors he usually uses (white, black, red). The rendering of his works wants to be immediate: the visual impact leaves no room for reflection but must reach the viewer directly. An almost hypnotic optical style, combined with the sense of movement given by the center of the figure can only captivate the eye of the beholder. The artwork was made in 2018. – MAUA MUSEUM
