A wonderful ragbag for alternative travelers and fans of creativity, especially urban art. On this platform you can find interesting reportages, detailed country or city maps and coverages on awesome artists. There is a whole section about interviews with unique people and their amazing work, as well about crazy events and interesting sustaining projects from all around the world. Meanwhile we have more than 280.000 photos from 100 countries in our archive and we try to preserve some of this creativity with our documentation. All respect to the artists! As well to all the numerous people involved in this non profit project. We do this voluntarily because we love it and we want to support the art scene in general and socio-cultural understanding between us on this planet. If you find any mistakes or missing information, just send us a message. We are creating, building and changing on this website all the time – but – of course! Atelier / Britain / DesignCreativity slumbers within each of us, you just have to pursue these ideas a little and give your imagination a jolt. You should also keep your eyes open to allow inspiration and conception. Art is timeless, just as there are no prescribed rules, a minimum or maximum age, a condition of academic art training or other certificates. The ideas and creativity come from within yourself, the other elements that are certainly helpful are just building blocks that you can use when the time comes. The artist Beth Williams went her own way and creates beautiful pictures and thought-provoking collages with hidden messages.

Argentina / StreetartMonte Hermoso is an idyllic small town by the Atlantic sea, with great sandy beaches and cozy spots to relax. The place has around 5,300 inhabitants, but even though it is not big, you can still find interesting urban works of art here. Czechia / Events / StreetartThe Těšnov Hall of Fame is located in the Florenc district along the park of the same name and on the bridge to Wilsonova Street. It is a spacious area with several walls and bridge pillars, doing art here is allowed and legal. You can always find people painting, there are spray sessions and graffiti jams. On August 31st in 2024, the great UNYFEST also took place around the area with numerous urban artists and a fantastic line-up of various musicians from the hip hop scene.

Events / Germany / StreetartFrom 27th till 29th of October 2023 several fantastic artists painted an awesome collaboration masterpiece at the Poststadion during the “50 Years Hip Hop Jam”. The event was organized by MARE and TOMSTA from the 21ER GALLERY and great graffiti and characters got created on the big main wall and on additional backyard walls in the Berlin district Moabit. Check out the awesome artworks made by around 25 local and international artists.

Germany / StreetartIn the Berlin „Park am Gleisdreieck“ there is a 160 meters long wall which gets regularly decorated with great works of art. Awesome graffiti and characters can be admired at this area. It is not a free wall and you are only allowed to paint in consultation with the graffiti shop LEGACY BLN in Yorckstraße 53. Germany / StreetartAround the grounds of the football club SC Union 06 Berlin at the Poststadion there is a great skate park and several small leisure sports facilities. Embedded is also a grandiose graffiti wall, which is regularly creatively designed by the 21ER GALLERY through painting campaigns with top-class artists from Berlin and all around the world. Streetart / TurkeyIn Istanbul between the main street Tersane Caddesi and the parallel side street Yemeniciler Caddesi, there is a parking lot that connects the two streets. The alley is called Kürekçiler Kapisi and you can find a large amount of graffiti on the walls on both sides of the surrounding buildings, including really well-crafted collaborations and beautiful portraits mixed with elegant graffiti writing.

Events / Italy / StreetartOpposite the church “L’Oratorio San Paolo Apostolo” in Turin there is a soccer field and basketball court surrounded by a long wall. Great graffiti gets often created there, and colorful events are held. In 2019 the artists KARIM and ZULI from the cultural association LARGE MOTIVE, in collaboration with the TORINO 27 scout group and L’Oratorio San Paolo Apostolo, organized the fantastic SAN PAOLO STREET JAM, where amazing works were created. In addition, workshops were offered, there was breakdancing, rap battles, a scout lab, a dance exhibition and live DJ music.

History / JapanDuring our tour of Japan we made a stop in the historical-idyllic city of Kurashiki (Japanese ? ? ?, -shi). The Edo-era merchant town is located in Okayama prefecture and the former Bitch? province of Honshu, the main island of Japan. Kurashiki means something like „village from warehouses“. There are still dozens of buildings (Kura) preserved, which represent a symbol of the city due to their typical facades. It’s worth a visit. It is best to stay for a few days in the nearby Okayama and make a day trip by train to the cultural site.

Germany / StreetartThe Bavarian city of Augsburg is one of the oldest cities in the country and especially the old town is home to historic buildings from different eras. You should visit the medieval guild houses of the Fuggers, the Cathedral of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary from the 11th century and the Basilica of St. Ulrich and Afra with its onion dome. Another landmark of the „Fuggerstadt“ is the town center with the Golden Hall. Of course, Augsburg also has plenty of urban art to offer. The collective DIE BUNTEN in particular lives up to its name and makes the streets more and more colorful.

Greece / History / StreetartThe abandoned Myloi train station is located in the Argolis region of the Peloponnese, not far from the city of Nafplio. It was opened around 1886 as part of the expansion of the Peloponnesian narrow-gauge railway network. With the progressive decline of regional rail traffic from the 1970s onwards, the station increasingly lost its importance and the operations were finally discontinued in the early 2000s. Since then, the site has been considered a “lost place”. Particularly striking are the stationary, partly heavily weathered carriages and locomotives that still stand on the tracks, also numerous graffiti cover the walls and parked vehicles.

Events / Germany / StreetartFrom 9th till 10th May in 2026, the great CHARACTER JAM took place again at the JUGENDHAUS AM BÜGEL, this time it was the 14th edition of this fantastic event, where several artists redesign and color up the building complex and surrounding facades. This time, the pieces weren’t done on the stage, but instead the entire front building was decorated with a great concept wall by the BORN CREW and KWG CREW aka KIDS WITH GUNZ, also the backyard wall adorns now a collab by the TIF CREW aka THE INFAMOUS FACES, and the youth center has now a new large mural facing the sports field made by EMESA and HERA.

BoliviaTupiza is the central city in the department of Potosí in the south of Bolivia which is located just in the middle of the Andeans. As well it was our start to a fantastic journey through the mountain desert with phenomenal landscape views and amazing meetings with freak out rock formations. The next days could have been as well on planet Mars. We just arrived from Argentina and went to the bus station to check the options for the next steps of our travels. But there was no bus, at least none in the next eight hours.

Streetart / SwedenThe graffiti artist CABEL focuses on writing and letters, but he says that a good artist should be able to paint anything. Mostly it is his wildstyle name, but in addition to the great alphabetical formations, his art also includes a lot of times characters or a mixture of them in spacey atmospheres. Events / Norway / StreetartTromsø is located beyond the Arctic Circle, has around 77.000 inhabitants and is known as the „Gateway to the Arctic“. Recommendable sights are the Arctic Cathedral, the Polar Museum and the views from the Fjellheisen cable car, but Tromsø is also a hub for contemporary urban culture. A particularly significant event is the ARCTIC JAM, which includes a streetart festival organized annually by the artist collective THE ARCTIC WRITERS. The happening encompasses not only streetart and graffiti, but also breakdance battles, hip-hop workshops, and dance performances.

Spain / StreetartVillajoyosa, or in Valencian „La Vila Joiosa“, is a coastal town in the province of Alicante, with around 35.000 inhabitants. It is located on the Costa Blanca between Alicante and Benidorm, directly on the Mediterranean Sea. Main sights include the colorfully painted old town, the Church of Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, the traditional fishing harbor, and the Valor Chocolate Museum. There are also great graffiti and streetart around town, especially the artist KAOS left some awesome creations, also PEDRO ARAGONES aka GONES has a whole street with several pieces.

Malta / Nature / SocialManoel Island in the bay of G?ira is not the highlight of the city, but worth a visit for a short walk. There is a small fort, a bathing spot popular with locals and otherwise closed ruins or construction sites. The excursion was really nothing special and in absolutely hot heat we also missed the bathing spot. For a short inbetween visit you can pass by the spot, but you should not necessarily do this at noon time because there´s no shade at all. But you will get a nice view of Valletta and Sliema over the water. In addition shortly after the bridge to the island, there is the lovingly and creatively assembled Duck’s Village, which now houses not only ducks, but many other bird species and even hares and guinea pigs. Just like the motto: All Animals in Harmony.

North Macedonia / StreetartIn the Karpoš district of Skopje, at Volgogradska 7, you can do two fantastic things at once. Here you’ll find the amazing burger place SENDVICARA RENDE, or simply RENDE. They serve excellent burgers and are highly recommended for a food break. The place is also covered in graffiti, both along the row of shops and around the building. Especially the artists DRASH and RASK have left their mark, as their studios are located nearby in the neighbourhood. Check out the great artworks and have a burger stop when you are around.

History / VenezuelaThe castle of San Carlos de la Barra is a construction of colonial Spain, located on the San Carlos Peninsula, in the state Zulia. It was built in 1623 with limestone rocks, brought from Toas Island, at the entrance of the Maracaibo bar. The fortress was intended to protect the passage that connects Lake Maracaibo with the Gulf of Venezuela. At the time when Maracaibo was built it had been attacked and sacked several times by pirates and the construction of the castle was intended to have a true defense of the territory that would prevent pirates from entering the mainland.

France / StreetartIn the eastern part of Nice is the Saint Augustin district with a huge industrial area around the airport. The depots and factories of MIN and Manakin Fleurs, a flower warehouse with distribution to the end stores, are also located there. It is a large hall complex surrounded by many other companies. But the special thing about this location is that it is also home to two fabulous artists‘ studios, namely those of FABEN and AROKE. They also received permission to redesign the walls on the dull and boring gray surfaces. This is how the MIND ART DISTRICT was gradually created.

Design / Streetart / USAThe decommissioned Beech-18 adorned Davis Road in Fairbanks, Alaska, for years in its original paint scheme. In June 2024, it was transformed into a work of art that artistically captures Alaska’s natural forces in two different designs by the artist AKG (ANN-KRISTIN GÖTZ). Nepal / StreetartIn 2024 the KATHMANDU METROPOLITAN CITY launched an official mural program in collaboration with the NEPAL ACADEMY OF FINE ARTS. Artists were selected and commissioned by the city to paint these murals and a fantastic concept wall has also been created along Sundhara Road near the Dharahara Tower, featuring cultural motifs depicting the city’s people and historic landmarks. Additional works can be found at Saraswati Park or in the neighborhoods of Maitighar, Babar Mahal, Min Bhawan, Baneshwor and Lainchour.
