An easy to reach hot spot is definitely the fantastic skate park Msida, which is located in the middle of a motorway loop. The park alone is already filled with great works of art from top to bottom. But there are also other spaces in the network of streets, whose walls are decorated with magnificent masterpieces. You can get to this spot from different sides only through some longer underpasses and through some angled passages below the motorway strip. The question of how these small tunnels are designed is probably not necessary: Of course, they are bombarded with can art, and there are always new things to come!
The area of the skate park is relatively large and equipped with a variety of ramps, quarters and other skater toys. In the eastern part there is even a small pool. For skaters the visit is all the more worthwhile, here you can get excited. But this place is also a treat for graffiti fans and streetart friends! Not only is the skate park painted from top to bottom, but of course also any adjacent walls. But also all the entrances, tunnels and stairways. Just everything! It’s wonderful! Here’s really a lot of damn good art to find!
The Malta Skateboard Association or short MTA takes care of this area around the Skatpark and the organisation of the jams and events taking place there. A look at their site is also worthwhile if you are a fan of this sporting activity.
