Diane Dufresne
Diane Dufresne is the iconic singer of the 70s and 80s in Quebec. Some consider her to be one of the greatest Quebec singers. Eccentric, known for her extravagant stage outfits, she shocked, dazzled and left no one indifferent. She collaborated with the Quebec lyricist Luc Plamondon, then with the French Michel Jonasz, Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Higelin to name a few. Along with her singing career, she is interested in painting. Today retired from the song, she continues her activity as a painter with some success. Diane Dufresne was made Knight of the National Order of Quebec in 2002.
