Raymond Lévesque
Raymond Lévesque, who died in February 2021 of Covid-19, was a Quebec singer-songwriter, poet, novelist and playwright! During his career, Raymond Lévesque has created more than 500 songs, wrote 5 plays, composed 7 poetry collections, participated in the creation of 50 humorous reviews and wrote his biography! What a great artist and a prolific man!
In 2012, he received the Medal of Honor from the National Assembly of Quebec for his great contribution to art and culture in Quebec. Raymond Lévesque, because of his sovereignist convictions, has always refused to accept the honor that the Government of Canada wanted to confer on him. – Patrice Loranger
