The North Side Gallery is an area with two parallel long open spray walls between a park with skate area. There are regularly graffiti jams and spray events organized by the GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN who administer this place. Here are the artworks sorted by artists on the walls close to Garten Street on the east part of the North Side Gallery. Check out as well the west part with great artworks on the long wall close to Carolin Michaelis Street on the other side of the park. These walls are legalized since May 2023 and it is allowed to spray and be creative for everybody!
History of legalization and rules
GRAFFITI LOBBY BERLIN: Dear graffiti artists, We are committed to the legalization of graffiti walls. This takes a long breath. We have been fighting for the wall space in the park at the Nordbahnhof for a long time. Now we have a permit from the district office. The wall can be painted but only with prior notice. You can register here at EMILY THE STRANGE. – Graffiti Lobby Berlin – 08.2021 – In May 2023 the wall got finally legalized, you can be creative whenever you fell so. Please help everybody to keep this now legal art space working by taking the garbage you brought to the bins. And paint as much as you can!
