Paul Buissonneau
Paul Buissonneau was an actor, singer and director of French origin who had a long and impressive career in Quebec. The artist LAURENT GASCON has chosen in his mosaic mural to emphasize the beginning of the career of Paul Buissonneau. In fact, from 1953, Buissonneau directed La Roulotte, an open-air children’s theater that crisscrossed the parks of Montreal during the summer season. Buissonneau created his character of the clown Piccolo there, which then followed him on television. La Roulotte allowed several talented actors and artists to take their first steps in the profession. These include: Yvon Deschamps, Clémence Desrochers, Jean-Louis Millette, Gilles Latulipe and Marcel Sabourin. – Patrice Loranger
