Ireland / StreetartThe area around Richmond Street is just a colorful art paradise. At least it once was on a much larger scale. Many buildings have since been demolished and some of the graffiti spots unfortunately no longer exist. But several wall parts are still active and great artworks continously get created here, also in our archive you can marvel at the previous area parts and the works, even if they are gone. It is basically a narrow side street, but this longer alley is filled over and over with graffiti and is one of the hot spots in town. >>> READ MORE [...] Read more...
Design / Ecuador / Painter / Streetart / USAEdgar Lituma Soto has traveled to all corners of the world. Tracing a path through colorful alleyways in South America to the swarming, vibrant markets of southeast Asia, his art is an intricate blend of multicultural influences and the visions of the hazy dreamworld between sleep and consciousness. The uniquely artistic member of his native Ecuadorian Sucua family is now a graphic designer and animator by trade, though his downtime is full of creative endeavors—the products of a passion for self-expression. His work has appeared in local galleries, pop-up shows and in mural form. Despite a severe case of chronic wanderlust, Soto calls Atlanta home at the moment. >>> READ MORE [...] Read more...

Malta / StreetartMalta was initially a disappointment when it comes to street art. Everywhere only the color ochre and ochre and again ochre on these strange conservative stones. But in between, and often half-hidden, there are still small oases of urban art. Some of these creative spaces have been generated by the fantastic crew of ADD MORE COLORS during the few utterly legendary MALTA STREETART FESTIVALS, while another important spot is certainly the colorful and famouse MSIDA SKATE PARK, of which the MSA MALTA SKATEBOARD ASSOCIATION is taking care of. But we found even more super awesome and also less awesome stuff. Especially the great local artists COOKER, JUSTINK’S AND MURALS or TWITCH should be mentioned here. They are talented productive and heartful busy all over the island by bringing diversity on this rock. Or let´s say multiple rocks. There are some more islands. And yes, we have also streetart footage even from the island Gozo! Check out the huge gallery with around 1000 photos and numerous sub-articles. >>> READ MORE [...] Read more...
North Macedonia / StreetartBasically the whole of Skopje is one big graffiti canvas and people just spray paint everywhere. But some works simply require a little more time, especially if they are to be really spectacular. So it’s good that there are also legal areas, and one of these legal spray spaces is located on Vojvoda Vasil Chakalarov in the eastern part of the city, about 300 meters before the road crosses the Vardar River on the way out of town. It is a long concrete wall about 2 meters high, where new works are constantly being created and graffiti spray sessions take place from time to time. >>> READ MORE [...] Read more...

Painter / USAThe great artist AMIR SALAMAT paints fantastic worlds and complex abstract stories on small and large surfaces. But no matter how big or tiny the canvas, the wooden board or the wall is, it is always completely filled in a way that it awakens kind of new dimensions. The spice is in the detail. Exciting scenarios with a mix of historical characters from different cultures transport thoughts and feelings, often they are arguments about social issues and contain his dealings with them. >>> READ MORE [...] Read more...

Cambodia / GastroIn fact, when discovering a country, you should of course immerse yourself in the local cuisine and homemade specialities and explore the unknown flavours. But we had been travelling in Asia for a while and hadn’t eaten real good bread for a long time. You rarely find this around, let alone a real pizza.
