A wonderful ragbag for alternative travelers and fans of creativity, especially urban art. On this platform you can find interesting reportages, detailed country or city maps and coverages on awesome artists. There is a whole section about interviews with unique people and their amazing work, as well about crazy events and interesting sustaining projects from all around the world. Meanwhile we have more than 280.000 photos from 100 countries in our archive and we try to preserve some of this creativity with our documentation. All respect to the artists! As well to all the numerous people involved in this non profit project. We do this voluntarily because we love it and we want to support the art scene in general and socio-cultural understanding between us on this planet. If you find any mistakes or missing information, just send us a message. We are creating, building and changing on this website all the time – but – of course! If there is free time…. we travel and explore!!!

Germany / PainterThe artist DeePee creates wonderful provocative and critical art on cardboard. He designs collages of black and white copied fragments of pictures and prints, puts and glues them together, and in a next step he adds paint and bright colors on all of it . Those abstract planed constellations are chaotic, but as well sorted with a very clear concept. We met the artist at the ZENIT exhibition where he showed pieces from his series “Herrenrasse”. Like you can tell by the name it´s about the fascist rule. DeePee’s work also focuses on the Second World War, the post-war era and the bourgeoisie. He deals especially with “Entarteter Kunst”, which means “Degenerated Art”. And his job is to be the degenerator of the art. DeePee cuts the pieces out of the whole construct and puts them together into a new creation. It´s a contrast, though degenerated. But as well it´s a strong criticisms and a disapproved dealing with the Nazi regime era.

Egypt / StreetartSouth of the city of Aswan on the west bank of the Nile lies the Nubian Village as part of the town of Nagaa Suhayl Gharb. The place is just an astonishing treasure trove of interesting culture and great urban art. Nearly most of the buildings are provided with grandiose works of art or simply completely painted as large complete works. Included are murals by ROMA, RAMY TAG, ROBY, MAHA GAMIL and many more.

France / StreetartRennes has about 223,000 inhabitants and is the capital of Brittany in northwest France. It is known for its medieval half-timbered houses, the magnificent cathedral, the Parc du Thabor and the Espace des Sciences with its planetarium. Atelier / Design / Events / Painter / South KoreaThe Chosun University Museum of Art, or CUMA for short, is part of Chosun University in the city of Gwangju and exhibitions of fantastic works by current art students and graduates are regularly presented here, including works through all disciplines, from paintings and installations to sculptures, textiles, films and animations. It serves as a cultural space and window to the public, giving interested visitors an insight into the work at the art academy and the artistic identity of the students. From May 14th to 30th in 2025, the best works of the current semester were shown as part of the exhibition „Expanding the Gaze – The Reimagined Campus“.

North Macedonia / StreetartOn August 31st in 2025, a magnificent new mural was unveiled in the Debar Maalo neighborhood to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the beloved children’s series „Bushava Azbuka“. The creators of the long wall painting are the two fantastic local artists DRASH and MIKS, with support from the media company Vidi Vaka and the Centar District Municipality. The artwork was inaugurated with a lovely street festival attended by young and old, just as the iconic series has already brought many generations together and helped children learn to read and write since 1985.

Germany / StreetartIn the Rummelsburg district of Berlin there was once a legendary Hall of Fame, where grandiose works of art and graffiti were created over decades. In 2022 the place was unfortunately demolished. This spray paradise does no longer exist in the real world anymore, but in our online archive you can still admire more than 2000 photos of nearly 300 artists. We divided the huge area into three parts: the Main Wall, the Side Wall and the Front Wall.

Design / Romania / SculptorThe Triade Foundation initiated the „Sculpture Nursery“ project in 2003, wherein Romanian and international artists provided models of their works that were later produced in Timişoara for an outdoor exhibition. The Triade Park, located near the Interart Triade Foundation, where the Jecza Museum operates, houses more than 40 stone and metal sculptures. Some of these works were created by prominent Romanian sculptors.

Czechia / StreetartPrague is the capital of the Czech Republic and is also known as the „City of a Hundred Towers“. It has around 1.3 million inhabitants and lies on the Vltava River. Worth seeing are the colorful baroque buildings in the Old Town, the Gothic churches and medieval buildings. One of the city’s landmarks is the Charles Bridge with a series of statues dating back to 1402. There is also plenty of streetart and graffiti throughout the city, for example one of the probably oldest „Halls of Fame“ in the world, the LENNON WALL, which has been a symbol of freedom and peace since the 1980s.

BelizeIn between a little photo gallery about the city of Chan Chen where you can cross the frontier from México to Belize. The small border town with just around 700 residents is located in the Corozal District and consists mainly of indigenous inhabitants who speak Yucatecan Maya. The name „Chan Chen“ origins from the Mayathan language and means „small spring“ in English.

Norway / StreetartHarstad is a town in the province of Troms in northern Norway with a population of around 21.000. Worth seeing are the Tv-Tårnet observation tower, the Trondenes Center on the history of the Vikings, and the Trondenes Church, the world’s northernmost medieval stone church, built around 1250. The natural spectacle of the Northern Lights can be seen well from October to March, but the city offers not only colorful skies, but also colorful walls in the streets. Every year, the large music, theater, and art festival FESTSPILLENE I NORD NORGE aka ARCTIC ARTS FESTIVAL takes place and the collective ARCTIC WRITERS are also active time by time.

Nature / Sri LankaMirissa is located on the south coast of Sri Lanka and is a small surfing mecca, which is why you will find numerous surfboards in the water here, especially in the morning and evening hours. Due to a number of natural or man-made bays, different beaches have also been created, as well as small points of interest such as Coconut Tree Hill or Parrot Rock. South Korea / StreetartThe Hongik University in Seoul is a renowned private academy, particularly known for its popular programs in art, design, and architecture. Founded in 1946, the main campus is located in the lively Hongdae district, a cultural center of the metropolis with numerous galleries, cafés, and live music venues. The Red Road in particular is a popular route where you can find numerous urban artworks. Also a lot of artists are based throughout the surrounding neighbourhood, as well there are ateliers and creative spaces. And the walls are accordingly decorated with colorful graffiti and streetart of course!

Atelier / Culturists / Estonia / StreetartWe visited this fantastic artful place even twice and each time there was something completely new about it. First there is the long streetart mural of course which you can see while just passing by. It was made during the Mextonia Festival organized by the Mexican private platform Nueve Arte Urbano and the Estonian private company Todoes uno Eesti in 2017. Artists collaborated and left some awesome graffitis and color on the town walls. We did as well an interview with the Andres Mesner, the ownder of the inside existing art gallery called “Kalaranna Kultuurikuur” or in short form just „KaKu“.

South Korea / StreetartThe IHWA MURAL VILLAGE is a historic residential neighborhood in Seoul’s Jongno District that became a popular cultural and tourist destination following an art project in 2006. As part of the project, numerous artists transformed the narrow alleys with colorful murals, mosaics, and creative art installations to revitalize the neighborhood and promote tourism. Since then, numerous other works of urban art have been added. The village is situated on a slope of Naksan Mountain, allowing visitors not only to discover the artwork but also to enjoy beautiful views over the rooftops of Seoul.

She loves to travel around the globe and especially to the interesting places where not everyone goes. At the same time she has a special fable for urban art. Australia / Events / StreetartThe fantastic BRISBANE STREET ART FESTIVAL, or BSAF for short, was founded in 2016 and is now one of Australia’s leading public art events. Every year, the festival transforms building facades, underpasses, and public spaces throughout the city into large-scale murals and installations. Since its inception, over 400 works of art have been created by local, national, and international artists. The program includes live murals, exhibitions, workshops, artist talks, and community projects. In 2025, the BSAF celebrated its 10th anniversary.

Germany / StreetartIn summer 2024, the „Urban Canvas Parkhaus Wedding“ project was launched in the huge shopping building and parking garage at Brunnenstraße 106. The parking decks provide a large number of free facade surfaces and EMILY STRANGE has opened another LIEBE ZUR KUNST concept here in collaboration with the CULTERIM GALLERY, who provide the walls and are reducing vacancies in making spaces available for arts and culture. Great works by various local and international artists are already finished and new works are going to come every four weeks.

Atelier / Events / Germany / StreetartThe STADTPIRATEN curated an exhibition in the gallery of the social fund of the Berlin construction industry which is located in the Lück Street 72 in the district Lichtenberg. The event took place from 19th March till 28th March in 2021. Here are the several fantastic creations sorted by artists. “Stadtpiraten” would mean in English “City Pirates”. During this great event visitors could admire the artworks from Anne Baerlin, Autark, Bibo, Caz.l, Coky One, Ducks Between Chucks, Gomez, Hoya, JMS, Kiezmiez, Lacuna, Niko, Opiemme, Textile Street Art, Wake Yakuza and Zonenkinder.

Analiá Pertusi aka Perts Jam joined and is building up a fantastic archive for the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires and as well for the Chascomus Map.
World traveller Mazzanti from Sweden contributes great photos for the Stockholm Map and for numerous places from all around the world.
Irxnschmoiz is our city ambassador for the maps of Hannover, Bremerhaven, Dortmund, Braunschweig and Hildesheim and contributes continously new material. He also takes photos from other interesting places in Germany.
Bart Hagel aka Street Art Damsko and Killer Leentje contribute awesome material for the Amsterdam Map.
Gail Lochner from Ecuador joined and is building up the map of Cuenca with fantastic artworks.
