A wonderful ragbag for alternative travelers and fans of creativity, especially urban art. On this platform you can find interesting reportages, detailed country or city maps and coverages on awesome artists. There is a whole section about interviews with unique people and their amazing work, as well about crazy events and interesting sustaining projects from all around the world. Meanwhile we have more than 275.000 photos in our archive and we try to preserve some of this creativity with our documentation. All respect to the artists! As well to all the numerous people involved in this non profit project. We do this voluntarily because we love it and we want to support the art scene in general and socio-cultural understanding between us on this planet. If you find any mistakes or missing information, just send us a message. We are creating, building and changing on this website all the time – but – of course! Germany / StreetartThe 21er Gallery‘s spray area includes several close by spots in the Berlin district of Moabit which the collective takes care of. The Union Sport Hall at Siemens Street is one of those creative places and new works are designed there at regular intervals. Projects and festivals take place, such as the annually Anti Racism Jam. Germany / StreetartIn the Schöneberg district of Berlin near the Werdauer Weg, there is an old iron wall that is regularly sprayed with super nice graffiti artworks. Colourful masterpieces are getting created time by time during spray sessions. The metal, which has been aging for years, results in completely different and new effects compared to the usual concrete walls. Check out the numerous fantastic pieces!

Italy / StreetartThe Navigli district, with its two famous canals Naviglio Grande and Naviglio Pavese, is located in the center of Milan and is known for its many creative art galleries, hip second-hand stores and trendy clubs. The Mercato di Viale Papiniano flea market and the monthly Mercatone dell’Antiquariato antiques mart are also particularly popular. “Navigli” is the name of all the numerous typical canals in and around Milan, so it basically is the canal district. Along those idyllic waterways and around the quaint alleys, there are of course plenty of colorful urban works of art.

Laos / StreetartDon Det is a little island in the Mekong River and part of the Si Phan Don archipelago or also called „4000 Islands“. Basically those are not real islands on the open sea, but large sandbanks in the river, which becomes very wide on the way to the Khon Phapheng Waterfalls further south. In addition to the interview with local artist BASILE MORIN and the interesting collection of Toilet Graffiti, there are a lot of other beautiful works of art on the island. Many visitors from all over the world leave great creations on the huts and bungalows with the permission of the locals.

Streetart / USAAtlanta has around 510,000 inhabitants and is the capital of the US state of Georgia. The birthplace of African-American civil rights activist Martin Luther King played an important role both during the American Civil War and during the civil rights movement in the 1960s. Of course, there are also countless murals and graffiti in the streets and especially the local organization LIVING WALLS is doing a huge contribution in making the city more colourful. Since its inception in 2010, over 500 public artworks have been created in Atlanta and beyond in collaboration with artists from around the world.

Cyprus / StreetartIn the west of Limassol near the old harbor is the abandoned wine factory “Synergatikos Organismos Diathesis Ambelourgikon Proionton” or SODAP for short. The industrial complex was built in 1947 and produced wine and the traditional Cypriot pomace brandy Zivania for many years. Meanwhile the 38,827 square meter site is an ideal location for urban art and the huge halls provide a lot of space from the outside, but also offer a special mystical and unique atmosphere inside.

BelgiumBelgium is one of the most underestimated countries in Europe. Yes, it is a very small place in terms of surface area and is therefore not visually significant when you look on the map of Europe. This is quite a pity, because Belgium has a lot to offer and provides surprises in terms of culture, art or evening activities and celebrations. A good mood is definitely pre-programmed. Canada / StreetartThe Canadian artist JADE BILODEAU from Montréal deals with geometric symmetry and at the same time with those forms found in nature. Her motifs often show plants, flowers or animals, but these are abstracted in graphic styles. Especially blossoms and the representation of their structure can often be found. Germany / StreetartFrom 2nd till 26th of June in Berlin around the Tauentzien Street the fantastic ALL WE WROTE open air exhibition took place with awesome urban artworks by 36 artists from five countries. You could travel through 50 years of graffiti culture while visiting Berlin, Paris, Amsterdam, New York and São Paolo in one journey! With 1200 meters the huge gallery was the longest graffiti expo worldwide! The event was supported by URBAN CONTEMPORARY, CANION and BLVD KU’DAMM.

South Korea / StreetartBelow the surface of the Korean captial Seoul a vibrant Spanish experience has come to life and since its inauguration during the „Picasso Mural Opening Ceremony“ on 9th July 2024 you can admire this impressive 65-meter-long mural in the underground tunnel One Bayley Public Walking Passage. This spectacular project was brought to life by Spanish artist LALONE, who painted in 17 days the artworks with motifs of Pablo Picasso and typical elements of his works, also sceneries from his life and sights from the city of Malaga.

The painter, photographer and writer Charles Samuel Wait started painting around 2010 basically to cope with life struggles. Cambodia / GastroIn fact, when discovering a country, you should of course immerse yourself in the local cuisine and homemade specialities and explore the unknown flavours. But we had been travelling in Asia for a while and hadn’t eaten real good bread for a long time. You rarely find this around, let alone a real pizza. It was all the more surprising to suddenly come across a cosy pizza bungalow on the beach at the farthest tip of the paradisiacal island of Koh Rong, where one of the most delicious Italian-style pizzas imaginable was baked.

The old town was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, worth seeing are also the seat of the Voivodeship Parliament, the University of Torun, the Roman Catholic Bishopric and overall the buildings in the city held in North German Brick Gothic. Britain / Comic / Events / IllustrationThe illustrator and graphic designer Junior Tomlin from London did some of the most iconic and legendary cover artworks for the rave and electronic music scene back in the 80s and 90s up till today. On 5th of June his new book “Junior Tomlin: Flyer & Cover Art” will get released which documents across 160 premium paper pages his work with commentary and draft sketches about thirty years of party scene. Junior is of course still doing his fabulous artworks and visuals, but meanwhile he can look on a huge variety of projects in many different fields like movies or covers for the music branch, he colored comics for Marvel, DC or Panini, was involved in Action Man and Judge Dredd animations, designed vector arts, invented innovative logos and even started sculpturing.

Iceland / StreetartSeyðisfjörður is picturesquely situated in a fjord on the east coast of Iceland and has a population of around 700. The town is known for its colorful wooden houses, galleries, and artists‘ studios such as GULLABÚID or JOYSTICK. Sights include the striking blue church Bláa Kirkjan, the local art center, and nearby waterfalls. The small village is also the gateway for ferry connections to Europe and a popular starting point for exploring nature in Iceland’s eastern fjords. Small but beautiful, it is also home to great urban artworks and even murals that cover entire houses.

Events / Italy / StreetartOpposite the church “L’Oratorio San Paolo Apostolo” in Turin there is a soccer field and basketball court surrounded by a long wall. Great graffiti gets often created there, and colorful events are held. In 2019 the artists KARIM and ZULI from the cultural association LARGE MOTIVE, in collaboration with the TORINO 27 scout group and L’Oratorio San Paolo Apostolo, organized the fantastic SAN PAOLO STREET JAM, where amazing works were created. In addition, workshops were offered, there was breakdancing, rap battles, a scout lab, a dance exhibition and live DJ music.

Atelier / Comic / Illustration / Painter / South KoreaThe Korean city of Gwangju is home to one of the country’s most important educational institutions, a center of knowledge for innovation and creativity. The Chosun University opened its doors in 1946 and has currently enrolled around 33.000 students. All of the faculties are certainly exciting, but we are particularly interested in the College of Art and Design. We visited the different themed levels and give you an insight into this interesting world, where fantastic works get created on each floor. The event was organized by MARE and TOMSTA from the 21ER GALLERY and great graffiti and characters got created on the big main wall and on additional backyard walls in the Berlin district Moabit. Events / StreetartThe HIDDEN TREASURE in Bremen is the world’s first black light urban art festival. The artists work together according to predetermined color concepts, using only black and six blacklight colors. Today we present you the photos from the 2024 edition which took place from 2nd till 4th of August at the Alte Werft at Stephanikirchenweide 19. Around 70 national and international artists came to spray and this time the motto was “3D Odyssee”, because the works of art were not only bathed in black light, but 3D glasses were also available for purchase on the site, which catapulted the murals into 3-dimensional space!

But just only the description „crazy“ isn´t adequately sufficient for this wondrous place. There should be added the terms „fantasy“, „fairy tale“ or „other world“. But well, then the name would be too long. When you step into the Crazy House in the south of Vietnam you literally enter another world. A little magic land.
