Tribute to comic series Wacky Races
Wacky Races is an American animated series that was first broadcast on September 14, 1968. It was produced and published by Hanna-Barbera Productions, one of the most famous animation studios of the time. The series originally aired on the US television network CBS and comprised 17 episodes, each featuring several races. The series focuses on crazy car races with imaginative vehicles and bizarre characters. Particularly well-known are the devious Dick Dastardly and his dog Muttley, who try to win every episode with unfair tricks, but usually fail. Thanks to its slapstick humor, memorable characters, and unusual racing concept, the series achieved cult status and was later repeated several times and reissued. Several graffiti artists from Turin created a tribute to this cult series on the northern and the southern border of the Giardino Ada Prospero Marchesini Gobetti with two long concept wall filled with graffiti and interspersed with the various crazy vehicles of the characters.
