The city of Bharatpur, located on the Narayani River and near Chitwan National Park has a population of approximately 369.000 and is an important commercial hub in the central Nepal region. On this page we focus on graffiti and urban art around town. The city is home to the legendary BFTS CREW, aka BORN FOR THE STREET, which formed around the master and tattoo icon DHUKUSH. The group is meanwhile active in many fields, ranging from graffiti, tattoos, and clothing to skateboarding, BMX, breakdancing and music genres like rap and punk. To support this movement, they founded their own label, KAMERO, which also operates its own shop in the Old Bazaar. The respective artists are also active in their own projects, such as BHOKSI at the DYNAMIC TATTOO STUDIO or PRAJWAL RAI with his band LATOKOSERO.
