The Suseong-gu District is one of the best-known and most affluent districts in the South Korean metropolis of Daegu. Located in the eastern part of the city, it is particularly renowned for its high quality of life, modern residential areas, and excellent educational and recreational opportunities. Many families move to Suseong-gu because it is home to some of the region’s best schools and educational institutions. A landmark of the district is Suseongmot Lake, a popular recreational area that attracts both locals and tourists. Walking paths, cafés, and restaurants around the lake invite visitors to linger. Especially in the evening, the illuminated surroundings create a pleasant atmosphere. A cable car also offers a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding landscape.

Suseong-gu also has a lot to offer culturally. Concerts, festivals, and art exhibitions take place regularly, enriching the vibrant city life. Modern shopping centers, traditional markets, and numerous dining options reflect the blend of tradition and modernity that characterizes the district. At the same time, numerous parks and green spaces provide opportunities for relaxation in the urban environment. And, of course, you’ll also find plenty of urban art installations lining the streets.
