A wonderful ragbag for alternative travelers and fans of creativity, especially urban art. On this platform you can find interesting reportages, detailed country or city maps and coverages on awesome artists. There is a whole section about interviews with unique people and their amazing work, as well about crazy events and interesting sustaining projects from all around the world. Meanwhile we have more than 240.000 photos in our archive and we try to preserve some of this creativity with our documentation. All respect to the artists! As well to all the numerous people involved in this non profit project. We do this voluntarily because we love it and we want to support the art scene in general and socio-cultural understanding between us on this planet. If you find any mistakes or missing information, just send us a message. We are creating, building and changing on this website all the time – but – of course!  If there is free time…. we travel and explore!!!

When you go to Vilnius you should definitely visit the unconventional artist and alternative dinner place Keul? R?k? in the Pylimo street 66 near the train station. BoliviaTupiza is the central city in the department of Potosí in the south of Bolivia which is located just in the middle of the Andeans. As well it was our start to a fantastic journey through the mountain desert with phenomenal landscape views and amazing meetings with freak out rock formations. The next days could have been as well on planet Mars. We just arrived from Argentina and went to the bus station to check the options for the next steps of our travels. BelgiumBelgium is one of the most underestimated countries in Europe. Yes, it is a very small place in terms of surface area and is therefore not visually significant when you look on the map of Europe. Atelier / Events / Germany / PainterAs the name suggests, the MINIMALISTIX GALLERY & COFFEE run by owner CENGIZ TATAR offers creative art and tasty coffee, but also everyday useful things. This new wonderful free mind space opened its doors on 10th of February 2022 with a great starting event in Bülow Street 11 in the Berlin district Schöneberg. Till 26th of February the gallery is open from 7 till 9 pm and the exhibition organized by GOMEZ and PETRA BRANKE aka MERLIN 007 will end on Saturday with a finissage. Events / StreetartThe fantastic MONTANA STORE in Frankfurt has now been open for a year and this occasion was celebrated in style with an awesome event weekend. There was a great party in the shop, but the highlight came the next day with the “1 Year Montana Birthday Jam” at the Ratswegkreisel Hall and around 150 artists came to spray! Argentina / StreetartThe highway construction in low level, “El Paso Bajo”, carried out on Francisco Beiró Avenue and the Urquiza railroad tracks in Buenos Aires, has four traffic lanes, two by hand, and a pedestrian crossing. This traffic complex was baptized Gustavo Cerati and therefore painted by artist MARCO HEIS with wonderful images of the famous singer. This space is a fantastic streetart paradise which is open all around the clock. It is a little industrial quarter, just a small block between some streets with several factories, but over the years a great collection of creations from national and international artists developed. Serbia / StreetartIn southwest Belgrade, along Bulevar Vojvode Mišića, the tram line also runs besides the southern side, branching off at the point where the main highway merges with Radnićka highway and combines into a complex traffic junction. From the southward crossing, the tram line follows its own path, and the walls are home to some fantastic graffiti and urban art. It often happens that construction work is taking place at this route and the trams don’t operate for several days or even weeks. But this is ideal for creating larger works in this location. The mainly rural shaped region is marked by the compact forests and natural reserves of the Ardennes in the north, in the east there are the rocky gorges of the Müllerthal and in the southeast the Moselle Valley. Gastro / Greece / StreetartThe Kapani Market is one the most traditional markets in Thessaloniki. It serves the needs of the consumers since the Ottoman occupation in the beginning of the 15th century. The whole area is covered with single shops who offer regional vegetables and fruits, great spices, various types of meat and fish, and of course the famous Greek olives in numerous sorts. If you like streetart you should as well go especially on a Sunday, because then you will see what is hidden on the shop doors. They are just all covered with graffiti, tagging and paint. It is known for its beautiful and colorful old town with the historic city wall, its cliffs and its famous Atlantic beaches such as Ponta da Piedade. In the following story we want to tell you a bit more especially about the Sofia Graffiti Tour and some little streetart gimmicks, we found during our expedition through Bulgaria´s capital. The Graffiti Tour starts on the four days between Friday and Monday always at 3 pm at the corner of „Todor Alexandrov“ and „Bratya Miladinovi“ in front of the Statue of Sofia close to the metro station Serdika and is definitly recommendable. Accommodation / Nature / South AfricaWildlife viewing of the savannah: We made another stop on our safari tour through the northeast of South Africa at Andy’s camp in the Ukhozi Nature Reserve. A cozy lodge with a collection of small tent sheds for a handful of visitors. The great thing about this camp is its location on a hill with a perfect view of a waterhole below. In the morning, at lunchtime and especially in the evening, the entire animal landscape of the area appears alternately there. Events / Germany / StreetartThe HIDDEN TREASURE in Bremen is the world’s first black light urban art festival. The artists work together according to predetermined color concepts, using only black and six blacklight colors. From August 18th to 20th August in 2023, over 50 graffiti creators painted the huge outdoor area at the Alte Werft at Stephanikirchenweide 19. As a highlight of the festival, the main wall was completely illuminated with black light at night, creating the largest black light graffiti in the world. Founder ADRIAN ASHBY’s idea began as a hobby, offering like-minded VDub enthusiasts the opportunity to display their treasures and exchange parts, knowledge and appreciation for the legendary vehicles. From there, it naturally evolved into one of the UK’s largest VW shows, attracting fans from across the country and abroad every year. Britain / MusicCarl Marah and Scott Rough are listening to music since they were little children, but the Swinging Sixties just got into their heads and kept on pushing them to the stage. They wanted to produce and play what they love. In 2014 the two 60s music lovers started to do gigs with musician Mick Reilly about the sound of this era. It was the foundation of the fantastic band Logan´s Close. Albania / StreetartFabulous travel photographer and world explorer Praxinho aka Praxi Deluxe brought some awesome photo material from his journey to the Albanian capital Tirana. Since 2018 the fantastic MURAL FEST TIRANA takes place in the streets and numerous artists from all around the globe have been invited in the previous years. This great event is hosted annually by the local art agency DEKORI with its director Henril Cule and with support by 167/B STREET. In the city you can find as well many old fashioned artworks from decades ago in mosaic style. Streetart / Sweden / TattooThe Swedish artist TONY B started with drawing on paper, followed by painting on human skin as a tattoo artist and finally also creating on walls as a graffiti sprayer. In Gothenburg he runs the magnificent tattoo studio UNIKUM with a team of six other great tattooers. His love is with the body decorations, but he kept on doing all of the other connected art genres too, so it is drawing, illustrations, tattoos and wall paintings. Germany / StreetartWeißwasser or Oberlausitz is a large district town in north-eastern Saxony. It lies in the midst of a lignite-rich heathland between the Lusatian Lake District and the German-Polish border. With its rise from a rural village to an industrial town, Weißwasser grew from a population of around 1000 in 1885 to over 38,000 in 1988 and then fell back to 16,000 in 2020. The place is now a small town again, but offers great urban artworks in its streets. Here we have a collection of fantastic graffiti and streetart from Weißwasser. Atelier / Germany / SculptorThe sculptor Pit Ruge designs fantastic creatures and entire wonderful worlds of wood, wire and color in his open-air workshop “Waldwerft. ” For the  huge and famous pumpkin exhibitions, which have been taking place for over twenty years now throughout Germany, he and a team of artists fabricate the complete thematic scenarios including figures, which are then hung with pumpkins. Britain / Ireland / StreetartHere we have a great collection of urban artworks in the city of Derry or also called Londonderry. The place is close to the border between Ireland and Northern Ireland, which means riots are common. Sometimes it is more calm, sometimes more aggressive. The situation is not nearly solved and there is much tension since ages. You can find a lot of the context of the situation filled into the artworks. Holger Peter (PeterEatAndArt) from Berlin joined and is building up the Streetart Map of Berlin with extensive infos about the artists and meanwhile with over 9700 pages and more than 84.000 photos. He is also doing the map for Rheine and the Island Poel

Analiá Pertusi aka Perts Jam joined and is building up a fantastic archive for the Argentinian capital Buenos Aires and as well for the Chascomus Map.

World traveller Mazzanti from Sweden contributes great photos for the Stockholm Map and for numerous places from all around the world.

Bart Hagel aka Street Art Damsko and Killer Leentje contribute awesome material for the Amsterdam Map.

Gail Lochner from Ecuador joined and is building up the map of Cuenca with fantastic artworks.

Agnieszka Pisarska (Piece of Streetart) contributes great galleries of cities in Poland and is building up the Streetart Map of Wroc?aw!

The Nomads on Wheels are travelling around the world in their van and sending awesome photos. Meanwhile we have great collections from 72 places.

Fiona Lu (City.Features) from Canada joined and is building up the Streetart Map of Vancouver.

Caley Costley (BobBleu) from California, USA joined and is building up the Streetart Map of Los Angeles.

Frankfurt Map reached 2000 spots and offers more than 27.000 photos to explore! As well there are lots of new updates to several places.

For several places it goes even into an additional level deeper and there are city maps.
