A wonderful ragbag for alternative travelers and fans of creativity, especially urban art. On this platform you can find interesting reportages, detailed country or city maps and coverages on awesome artists. There is a whole section about interviews with unique people and their amazing work, as well about crazy events and interesting sustaining projects from all around the world. Meanwhile we have more than 280.000 photos from 100 countries in our archive and we try to preserve some of this creativity with our documentation. All respect to the artists! As well to all the numerous people involved in this non profit project. We do this voluntarily because we love it and we want to support the art scene in general and socio-cultural understanding between us on this planet. If you find any mistakes or missing information, just send us a message. We are creating, building and changing on this website all the time – but – of course! Germany / StreetartYou simply have to love them – the „Human Beans“ in RAL 2000 color by the British and currently in Hamburg living artist DAVE THE CHIMP. Cheeky, funny, intelligent, effectively reduced to a maximum, with the highest recognition value. An ingenious „trademark“ that always makes you smile, amuses you uninhibitedly, but also makes you think, makes you reflect. Whenever I discover his works in hidden corners of cities, my day is saved. Check out the collection with numerous artworks from Hamburg and Berlin.

Germany / StreetartOn February 23th in 2025, federal elections will be held in Germany at a time when the shift to the right is on the rise again in the country and around the world. Due to these events the three artists TOMSTA, JAZZ and SHAW organized a great spray action on the concept wall of the 21ER GALLERY the days before to make a statement against right-wing attitudes, discrimination and racism. 15 artists took part in this creative campaign and painted fantastic works under the motto „THE BRANDMAUER“ to show that our society is colorful and open. If you are from Germany, go vote on February 23th 2025!

Streetart / USAThis place is not a real train yard, it is more of a stabling point for trains that are parked here for longer periods of time. Naturally a perfect surface for graffiti. New trains keep arriving and departing. Over time, they are decorated with new graffiti. The area is located at the outskirts of the historic Biltmore Village close to Asheville within a short distance to the River Arts District. There is an elongated set of train compartments stretching about 200 meters.

Germany / StreetartAround the grounds of the football club SC Union 06 Berlin at the Poststadion there is a great skate park and several small leisure sports facilities. Embedded is also a grandiose graffiti wall, which is regularly creatively designed by the 21ER GALLERY through painting campaigns with top-class artists from Berlin and all around the world. Serbia / StreetartIn Belgrade between the streets Takovska, Vojvode Dobrnjca and Bulevar Despota Stefana, there is a large backyard with a parking lot and a recreation area for residents. Basically, it is a large concreted space with a few benches. Not necessarily nice for relaxing, but ideal for colorful art on the wall. And there is plenty of it here, from characters to numerous graffiti. Especially the artist METOD, who is from around that neighborhood, has painted several fantastic concept scenarios.

South Korea / StreetartThe IHWA MURAL VILLAGE is a historic residential neighborhood in Seoul’s Jongno District that became a popular cultural and tourist destination following an art project in 2006. As part of the project, numerous artists transformed the narrow alleys with colorful murals, mosaics, and creative art installations to revitalize the neighborhood and promote tourism. Since then, numerous other works of urban art have been added. The village is situated on a slope of Naksan Mountain, allowing visitors not only to discover the artwork but also to enjoy beautiful views over the rooftops of Seoul.

Germany / StreetartFor many years, there existed a popular, but unofficial graffiti hotspot in the Wedding district of Berlin. Along the Napolenkai and on the Allée du Stade was the former gravel and rubble dumping ground, which was surrounded by a wall of concrete blocks. Perfect surface for spray can art. In February 2023, the soil sealing and walls were removed and unfortunately this graffiti spot no longer exists anymore. But in our archive you can still admire numerous photos!

Germany / StreetartThe Hall of Fame of the Mierendorf Insel is a legal graffiti space at Lise-Meitner Street 50 in the Berlin district Charlottenburg. At this spot continously magnificent works of art are getting created by the top artists. During the last years we photographed heaps of awesome creations and documented numerous jams and spray sessions. Check out the huge archive with more than 130 artists and several thousand photos.

Croatia / NatureNovalja is the second largest town on the island of Pag, between Rijeka and Zadar in the Croatian Adriatic. According to the city administration, the city has about 3,500 inhabitants and belongs to the Lika-Senj County. It describes itself as the tourist center of the island and yes it is. While we visited it wasn´t the visiting time, but during the summer the whole area is a party hot spot. We enjoyed some quite and relaxed chilled out time there.

Romania / StreetartSlatina is located in southern Romania on the eastern bank of the River Olt, which flows from the Carpathians further south into the Danube. The town, which was first mentioned in a document in 1368, is part of the historic Muntenia region, has a population of around 79,000 and is an important industrial center. Naturally graffiti can also be found here, especially the local schools organize painting events and jams.

Architecture / Chile / HistoryThe photographer Salvador Seda has been working on the Angol Streetart Map in Chile since quite a while and fills it with interesting stories and great photographs. His focus is often on the history of the urban art and the spot. In that case obviously it makes sense to explore abandoned places and Salvador is a big fan of Urbex. During an adventurous tour of discovery, the streetart hunter visited the Ilabaca Hospital, which had been out of order for decades. The dilapidated buildings and half-collapsed rooms have something eerie but at the same time also something attractive, which arouses curiosity. In such places you can usually find interesting graffiti art as well.

Germany / StreetartIn September 2022 the awesome urban art event DAS DRECKIGE DUTZEND, or in English THE DIRTY DOZEN, took place in Frankfurt with their 9th spray session. This time more than 60 artists designed in total 230 meters of facade on several walls. As well a part of one of the industrial buildings was declared as a permanent legal spray wall due to the event. Check out the photos of the amazing artworks from the jam!

Italy / Music / Photography / StreetartThe Arcano2 Magazine is a great publication from Milan and Venice that has been providing photos, reports and interviews from the world of hip hop and everything that goes with it. At regular intervals since 1997 they give an fantastic insight to graffiti, breakdancing and rapping especially from Northern Italy, but also from all around the globe. Initially launched as Arcano Revue and with the first volume in black and white, 12 issues have now been published, meanwhile each with 218 pages and 6 posters in glossy and color. Greece / History / StreetartThe abandoned Myloi train station is located in the Argolis region of the Peloponnese, not far from the city of Nafplio. It was opened around 1886 as part of the expansion of the Peloponnesian narrow-gauge railway network. With the progressive decline of regional rail traffic from the 1970s onwards, the station increasingly lost its importance and the operations were finally discontinued in the early 2000s. Since then, the site has been considered a “lost place”. Particularly striking are the stationary, partly heavily weathered carriages and locomotives that still stand on the tracks, also numerous graffiti cover the walls and parked vehicles.

Streetart / USAAnchorage is a coast town located at the Cook Inlet bay and with around 290.000 inhabitants it is the largest city in in the US northernmost state Alaska. Recommended for visiting is the Alaska Native Heritage Center and the surrounding breathtaking nature. The city is the gateway to nearby wilderness areas and mountains such as the Chugach, Kenai and Talkeetna Mountains. Of course, there is also beautiful urban art here, especially the local artist ZIGGY has created countless large murals as well as smaller works of art across the city. These are often designed to match the locality or with images from historical events of the region.

Nature / Sri LankaUdapalatha is a small village with a surrounding area full of farms which, in addition to the omnipresent tea cultivation, are mainly involved in vegetable growing. The further you get into the interior of Sri Lanka, the more mountainous and cooler it becomes, where fruit and vegetables thrive under the best conditions. Another advantage of the island, which is close to the equator, is that there is no summer and winter here, just a difference between rain and lots of rain. This means that they can grow and harvest all year round.

Nepal / StreetartAlong Bangalamukhi Road in the Chakupat district of Lalitpur, there is a magnificent graffiti wall featuring fantastic works in various styles. Especially the KAALO collective carried out two remarkable projects in 2018 and 2021 to support the organizations DIGNITY WITHOUT DANGER and DALIT LIVES MATTER. The SHADES collective also left behind a fantastic piece as a tribute to the movie Qala. In between are writing pieces, bombings, tags and streetart. Check out this great open air urban art gallery!

Events / Germany / StreetartThe fantastic graffiti jam SUMMA MADNEZZ has been taking place in Bremerhaven since 2010 and brings together local and international artists every year to create a huge wall. Since then every year amazing artworks are sprayed by more than 50 participants under a specific motto. In 2025 from 29th till 31st August it was „Ancient Egypt“. The main spot is the 400-meter-long wall in Oststraße on a former shipbuilding hall at the Fischereihafen quarter. Besides that area this time an additional wall got included behind a supermarket at Georg Seebeck Street 56 as well. Check out the masterpieces!

Atelier / Germany / SculptorThe sculptor Pit Ruge designs fantastic creatures and entire wonderful worlds of wood, wire and color in his open-air workshop “Waldwerft. ” For the huge and famous pumpkin exhibitions, which have been taking place for over twenty years now throughout Germany, he and a team of artists fabricate the complete thematic scenarios including figures, which are then hung with pumpkins. The creative factory also produces works of art for countless other events, exhibitions and festivals.

Greece / StreetartExarchia is a district of the Greek capital Athens and famous for it’s avant-garde and alternative scene. This page here is specifically about graffiti and great urban art in this neighbourhood, whose alleys are filled from top to bottom with magnificent works. The murals are often marked by political messages, interspersed with anarchist bookshops or stores for rare records and vintage stuff. The bars and clubs regularly host live concerts of all kinds of music and there is a fun and lively nightlife.

Events / Italy / South America / StreetartAfter its major success at the Milan Central Station, the awesome exhibition „The World of Banksy – The Immersive Experience“ went to Turin’s Porta Nuova and can be visited till 29th of May 2022. The exhibition highlights influential pieces from Banksy and can be perceived as the framework of his career. Art lover and photographer Luigi Savoia visited this fantastic place and documented the critical creative artworks, as well the shown short clips and the documentary movie “The Untold Truth Of Banksy” by Grunge magazine.

World traveller Mazzanti from Sweden contributes great photos for the Stockholm Map and for numerous places from all around the world.
