Here we have a collection of photos from the Penguin Village featuring architecture and buildings. The image include craft spaces and exhibition rooms, both from the outside and the inside. The neighborhood is a small, cozy cluster of houses, often interspersed with winding, narrow alleys. People actually live here, so on the one hand it’s a vibrant residential area, but it’s also filled with various artist studios, galleries, exhibition spaces, and creative workshops. What’s also interesting is that many of the houses were built in an old architectural Hanok style. And while buildings are now being renovated and art shops built, they’re done so in that special technique, which, combined with the urban art and the many creative objects scattered around, gives the place a very special charm.
