Toas Island is an island belonging to Venezuela, located in the Almirante Padilla municipality of Zulia State, south of the San Carlos Peninsula, at a distance of 2.5 kilometers from it and 5 kilometers from the eastern front of San Rafael de El Moján, city from which the island is distinguished. It covers an area of 3 km².
There are the El Toro and Aracho salt flats, sulfur lignite deposits, limestone deposits exploited since the time of the Spanish colonization, exploitation clays in the southern sector and a small copper ore deposit. The presence of limestone has allowed its industrialization in order to obtain cement. It has a small town called El Toro which is the capital of the municipality Almirante Padilla and can be reached by boat, there is a church, Plaza Bolívar, and various shops.
