ArtMadeThis is an urban art project where over 100 promising female artists have already had the opportunity to leave their mark on as many facades in Sweden’s four largest cities (Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Uppsala) as well as 8 artists in the municipality of Varberg. After five successful years of collaboration between the creator ALI DAVOODI and the real estate company Vasakronan, they decide in the summer of 2020 to continue with the project ArtMadeThis, whose main goal is to create more attractive and creative urban environments with the help of female artists. The parties saw the chance to highlight female artists who they do not consider to be as well represented as the men on the street art scene. Especially in the huge parking garage at Drottninggatan 65 in Gothenburg you can find 47 of those artworks but also all around the city.
