“Privileged consumption in the years of contemplation (The stills series 2021)”
SARAH SCHMIDT was born 1972 in Malmö and works mainly with moving images. The themes revolve around different states in the human psyche, such as vulnerability, confusion and different choices one makes in life. This work is about a privileged search for places that promise extra energy and sublimity. This search is characterized by yet another pattern of consumption in finding oneself and winding down. A privileged, spiritual tourism. This artwork is part of the project ArtMadeThis and was created in 2021.
