Eva Braun, whose full name was Eva Anna Paula Braun, had been Adolf Hitler’s mistress since 1932 and the two married one day before they committed suicide together in embattled Berlin, shortly before the unconditional surrender of the Wehrmacht in the Second World War. She owned a summer house in Pobierowo in Poland, which served as her private retreat. The house is a wooden construction from the 1930s, today it is an abandoned and dilapidated building that nevertheless attracts tourists interested in history.

Of course the graffiti artists also put some color to the old walls and added some writings and characters. On the one hand, a lost place is always an interesting adventure story that is fun to discover, but at the same time graffiti and urbex often go hand in hand. A lot of times you find awesome pieces at the most remote spots. But especially with this place hidden in the woods not far from the beach, there is also something even more positive when such negatively tainted remnants are painted over and decorated with color by new creative and open minded ideas.

Of course, you can also find the slogans Antifaschista, No Facism or No Nazis. We all agree that this should never happen again. Still that house is a part of history and besides its meaning and the person who stood there, it is an interesting piece of architecture.
