The former spa town of Loutrá Eleftheró with its thermal springs used to be a popular destination for healing therapies and relaxation. The spa was closed many years ago, the small village is meanwhile almost abandoned and the buildings are half in ruins, but this „ghost spa“ is still well worth a visit. The lost place offers a magical atmosphere in a mysterious valley, just like in enchanted fairyland. And of course there are some great graffiti and urban artworks here. Warm water still gushes from the springs and you can smell the hydrogen sulphide, which has a healing effect. This is why many visitors from the region still come here today to take a warm bath in the natural thermal waters. The four hot springs cure rheumatism, arthritis, gynecological problems and relax the muscles and nervous system. These great photos of urban art were taken by the world explorers Thomas Adventurer and Diana Beekvelt, also known as NOMADS ON WHEELS. They have been traveling around Europe with their VW LT28 van at that time and they document the journeys on their homepage, Instagram, Facebook and Youtube.
