From the time of these photos in August 2009 until today, the building with the graffiti has housed the Mi Tiempo Sauna. The sauna’s website and its social media show that the building is now properly painted and unfortunately, free of graffiti. So at the time of these photos, the main graffiti was located at one corner of the building, below the sign that reads „Sauna for Men“, a collaborative work between SAILE and the artist duo AISLAP. The colorful piece resembles a totem pole with various figures stacked one on top of the other.
To the right of the main graffiti, also at another corner, is a piece of graffiti depicting a girl’s face, created by the crew WSDM.
Further to the right, there’s a flop that reads KIME, clearly painted over another piece of graffiti that still shows signs of life.
The right side of the building ends with two skulls by an unknown artist.
To the left of AISLAP and SAILE’s main graffiti, there’s a tag that looks like a flop that says “saile’aislap”.
Finally, to the left of the building, there’s a DANA PINK graffiti depicting two girls on front of a flop that says “Crazy”.
It’s interesting to relate this graffiti by AISLAP and SAILE to the collaboration they did at GALERIA BOMB, which was done during the same time in history, plus both work of art are located one block away from each other.
