The bus stop is located at Plaza Bunster, on the side facing Avenida O’Higgins. For this project, artists Rams and Paulaaurora –both from the city of Temuco-sought to depict their personal impression of Angol, a city rich in flowers and greenery. They chose to highlight the flora that stood out most to them: the abundance of magnolias and apple trees in bloom, emphasizing the prevalence of these trees throughout Angol and the life and color they bring to the city. RAMS and PAULA AURORA also incorporated details of the hills into the design, reflecting a landscape characteristic of almost the entire city. In short, it is a work shaped by personal vision and sensory perception of Angol.
The square Plaza Bunster is named in honor of Manuel Bunster, a key figure in the economic, industrial, and social development of Angol and the entire Malleco Province during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. His contributions helped transform Angol from a military fort into a prosperous urban and agro-industrial center: consequently, the municipality and the community named this important plaza in his honor.
