DYRE’s Graffiti Workshop
This large mural wall with lots of graffiti is a workshop for youth and children that DYRE devised a year ago. DYRE managed and obtained sponsorship and materials for the students of the workshop, in addition to also directing the theoretical and practical classes for five days.
Among the participants, who are mentioned in the order that the photos appear, we have: CELLI, ADOL, CRAKE, CHASKAS, DOMI, SECKS, VANE, JANDINSKY, ZEN and GATA CHINA. DYRE said that it was a very pleasant experience for him and the students were very motivated, and they were also very happy with their participation. A good working group was created, all supporting and collaborating.
For DYRE it was very important to share experience with his students, meeting young people with many abilities. In addition, DYRE was very proud to have contributed a grain of sand in this stage of learning, always thinking that this is only the beginning of a long road of color and adventure.
DYRE ’s final reflection is that everything that graffiti has given him during his path as an artist, he feels that this workshop is a small way to contribute with the new generations.

Older Graffiti at John Kennedy 101
Here you can see the graffiti that existed before the mural organized by DYRE for his workshop, which were unrecognizable over time. The paint was faded and practically disappeared. Only the sphere in the first photo is less damaged. And precisely that graffiti was saved as you can see in the last photo where it appears next to the mural of the Dyre’s workshop.
